Sarah & Ethan :::: Styled Session in Trabuco Canyon

Sarah and Ethan are so cute! I may be biased though since Sarah happens to be my sister-in-love (Tim's sister) and when she and Ethan started dating over two years ago, we were so delighted! We have gotten to be so close with these two over the years and when they mentioned they wanted to do a bohemian style photo session, we jumped at the opportunity! (Note: these two are NOT engaged! Not yet anyways ;)) For their session we traveled down to Trabuco Canyon on an unseasonably warm Valentine's day (yup! We did their session on Valentine's Day!) and we such a lovely time exploring the canyons and taking some fun and romantic shots with all of the fun props we brought. I also brought a long some polaroids for their session (they both love all things vintage) and their goal was to look like romantic hippies. I think we succeeded! :)

Gordon + Hank :: 4/8/23 :: Wedding in Pioneer Town

G+H had the most magical day in the most magical of places— Rimrock Ranch in Pioneer Town, Yucca Valley! The weather was literally perfect and every detail was thoughtful and intentional and executed flawlessly by Katie at Best Day Ever Events! We started with the two grooms taking photo all over the property and even with one of the horses, Ranger. Next, it was time for guest arrival and ceremony where their guests were first greeted by singing from one of their favorite performers, Leslie Page. As the guests began to sample cocktails from Your Little Local and take their seats, each guest was given a red, woven bracelet. Once everyone was seated, the officiant Lori Kahn explained that the grooms wished their guests to infuse their love and positive energy into their bracelets and place them on their wrists. Melissa & Peter :: 11-11-17 :: Wedding in Irvine

Melissa and Peter are such sweeties! We started out their warm sunny wedding day at the Embassy Suites in Santa Ana,  where Melissa got ready with her bridesmaids. After a few fun shots in their robes and everyone was dressed ready to go, Melissa's bestie helped her get into her gorgeous dress, veil and garter. Next, we headed to their venue, the Eureka Building in Irvine where  the bridal party took some photos, being careful to keep bride and groom separate from one another. We also did a first look with Melissa and her dad and a "not" first look with Melissa and Peter, both were so fun and sweet! After those portraits were done, it was ceremony time filled with a sweet and emotional first look, personal vows and three cord braiding ceremony.  Once these two were officially Mr. and Mrs. we spent some time doing family photos, bridal party photos and portraits of the newlyweds in the setting sun.
