Alyssa & Ryan :: 8-26-12 :: Wedding in Alhambra

You know who is just marvelous? These two. It was such a pleasure to be a part of Alyssa and Ryan's wedding day, a day that was elegant and with unique touches of who they are as people and as a couple! Ryan's dad was their wedding officiant which was so sweet! A very unique aspect of their ceremony was they put together a time capsule box of love notes and wine meant to be opened when they decide to start a family. What a special way to look back on their wedding day! Alyssa and Ryan also released doves in their ceremony at a gazebo, which has special meaning for them. Their wedding party photo ideas were so fun and, they had a hilarious cake topper of a couple hi-fiving, so of course we had to have a picture of them hi-fiving in front of their cake. Overall, it was a beautiful day filled with touching moments and pure joy and here are some of our favorite images. :)

Gordon + Hank :: 4/8/23 :: Wedding in Pioneer Town

G+H had the most magical day in the most magical of places— Rimrock Ranch in Pioneer Town, Yucca Valley! The weather was literally perfect and every detail was thoughtful and intentional and executed flawlessly by Katie at Best Day Ever Events! We started with the two grooms taking photo all over the property and even with one of the horses, Ranger. Next, it was time for guest arrival and ceremony where their guests were first greeted by singing from one of their favorite performers, Leslie Page. As the guests began to sample cocktails from Your Little Local and take their seats, each guest was given a red, woven bracelet. Once everyone was seated, the officiant Lori Kahn explained that the grooms wished their guests to infuse their love and positive energy into their bracelets and place them on their wrists. Melissa & Peter :: 11-11-17 :: Wedding in Irvine

Melissa and Peter are such sweeties! We started out their warm sunny wedding day at the Embassy Suites in Santa Ana,  where Melissa got ready with her bridesmaids. After a few fun shots in their robes and everyone was dressed ready to go, Melissa's bestie helped her get into her gorgeous dress, veil and garter. Next, we headed to their venue, the Eureka Building in Irvine where  the bridal party took some photos, being careful to keep bride and groom separate from one another. We also did a first look with Melissa and her dad and a "not" first look with Melissa and Peter, both were so fun and sweet! After those portraits were done, it was ceremony time filled with a sweet and emotional first look, personal vows and three cord braiding ceremony.  Once these two were officially Mr. and Mrs. we spent some time doing family photos, bridal party photos and portraits of the newlyweds in the setting sun.
