Peterson Design and Photography

This is my beautiful friend Jennifer. I've known her forever  she is basically my little sister. She  like Jane , often was my go-to model for photography classes when I was in college. :) She graduated a few weeks ago from UC Irvine with a Bachelor of Arts in Drama, specifically studying Lighting Design and believe me when I say, she is one of the best! She has always had a passion for theater which started out as an actor on stage and ended up being the master behind the scenes with interests in costume and set design ending up on lighting design. She is planning to take a year off of school to work and then apply to graduate school. I am so very proud of her and all she has accomplished in her 4 years in college. This is my beautiful friend Jane. I've known her since she was in second grade and she was in my sister's class at school, and we've been good friends since she was in junior high. She often was my go-to model for photography classes when I was in college. :) We've shared so much of life together, both the highs and the lows, and I am exceptionally proud of her and all she has accomplished. She graduated from Chapman University a couple of weeks ago with her bachelor's degree in Art History and in August, she is leaving the US to pursue a master's degree in Dress and Textile History at  St. Andrews in Scotland ! We took her pictures on Chapman's beautiful campus where she has four years of memories. It was such a joy to spend some time with her taking pictures! Courtney and Sean are friends of Alison and Adam , whose wedding I did last October! Alison and Adam's wedding was super small, and Sean was the only groomsman and Courtney the only bridesmaid, which is so sweet. They have been together for 10 years and her engagement ring features a stunning 2 carat diamond, which she said, and I agree, she deserves after those 10 years! They are a fabulous, easy-going couple who look stunning together. We took pictures around Pomona College which has a gorgeous campus, so many beautiful trees and wonderful old buildings. It was a pleasure to spend the morning with them (and Courtney's sister/maid of honor Natalie who came to help with the outfit changes) and I am really looking forward to shooting the wedding.
