Carolyn & Andrew :::: Engagement Session at Disneyland

Carolyn and Andrew LOVE Disneyland! In fact, while living in LA without a car, Andrew would take the bus at 5:30 am to arrive at the park when it opened! We spent the whole morning exploring the park together, laughing, talking and going on rides. It was a blast! We began our session on Buena Vista street in California Adventure. They are having an art deco themed wedding, so I wanted to incorporate that vibe into some of their engagement photos. We then spent the rest of the morning in Disneyland experiencing some of areas of the park that are quintessentially Disney as well as going on a few fun rides. We also brought along some polaroids and took some fabulously fun shots. They will be spending their honeymoon in Disney World, so it was only fitting that they have some fabulous photos in the happiest place on earth. We can't wait to shoot their wedding in August :)

Gordon + Hank :: 4/8/23 :: Wedding in Pioneer Town

G+H had the most magical day in the most magical of places— Rimrock Ranch in Pioneer Town, Yucca Valley! The weather was literally perfect and every detail was thoughtful and intentional and executed flawlessly by Katie at Best Day Ever Events! We started with the two grooms taking photo all over the property and even with one of the horses, Ranger. Next, it was time for guest arrival and ceremony where their guests were first greeted by singing from one of their favorite performers, Leslie Page. As the guests began to sample cocktails from Your Little Local and take their seats, each guest was given a red, woven bracelet. Once everyone was seated, the officiant Lori Kahn explained that the grooms wished their guests to infuse their love and positive energy into their bracelets and place them on their wrists. Melissa & Peter :: 11-11-17 :: Wedding in Irvine

Melissa and Peter are such sweeties! We started out their warm sunny wedding day at the Embassy Suites in Santa Ana,  where Melissa got ready with her bridesmaids. After a few fun shots in their robes and everyone was dressed ready to go, Melissa's bestie helped her get into her gorgeous dress, veil and garter. Next, we headed to their venue, the Eureka Building in Irvine where  the bridal party took some photos, being careful to keep bride and groom separate from one another. We also did a first look with Melissa and her dad and a "not" first look with Melissa and Peter, both were so fun and sweet! After those portraits were done, it was ceremony time filled with a sweet and emotional first look, personal vows and three cord braiding ceremony.  Once these two were officially Mr. and Mrs. we spent some time doing family photos, bridal party photos and portraits of the newlyweds in the setting sun.
