Eileen & Andres :::: Engagement Session at Carbon Canyon Regional Park

Eileen and Andres are such a sweet couple! They first met in 2006 on a missions trip to Skid Row in LA where they shared a car ride together. They crossed paths again in 2011, and this time began dating. After dating a little more than a year, Andres proposed on the day before Eileen's birthday surrounded by some of their closest friends. So sweet! We went to one of my favorite places to shoot to do their engagement session, Carbon Canyon Regional in Brea. Lovers of vintage things, Eileen has a BEAUTIFUL antique engagement ring and they brought along some fun props for their session: a record player and records, an old camera and we also took some polaroids as part of their session. We will also be using one of the photos from their session for their wedding invitation, which I am excited to design. :) It was such a pleasure to photograph these two and we can't wait for the wedding!

Gordon + Hank :: 4/8/23 :: Wedding in Pioneer Town

G+H had the most magical day in the most magical of places— Rimrock Ranch in Pioneer Town, Yucca Valley! The weather was literally perfect and every detail was thoughtful and intentional and executed flawlessly by Katie at Best Day Ever Events! We started with the two grooms taking photo all over the property and even with one of the horses, Ranger. Next, it was time for guest arrival and ceremony where their guests were first greeted by singing from one of their favorite performers, Leslie Page. As the guests began to sample cocktails from Your Little Local and take their seats, each guest was given a red, woven bracelet. Once everyone was seated, the officiant Lori Kahn explained that the grooms wished their guests to infuse their love and positive energy into their bracelets and place them on their wrists. Melissa & Peter :: 11-11-17 :: Wedding in Irvine

Melissa and Peter are such sweeties! We started out their warm sunny wedding day at the Embassy Suites in Santa Ana,  where Melissa got ready with her bridesmaids. After a few fun shots in their robes and everyone was dressed ready to go, Melissa's bestie helped her get into her gorgeous dress, veil and garter. Next, we headed to their venue, the Eureka Building in Irvine where  the bridal party took some photos, being careful to keep bride and groom separate from one another. We also did a first look with Melissa and her dad and a "not" first look with Melissa and Peter, both were so fun and sweet! After those portraits were done, it was ceremony time filled with a sweet and emotional first look, personal vows and three cord braiding ceremony.  Once these two were officially Mr. and Mrs. we spent some time doing family photos, bridal party photos and portraits of the newlyweds in the setting sun.
