Kristin & Cory :: 9-14-13 :: Wedding in La Mirada

What an exceptionally wonderful day! Kristin and Cory started their day getting ready at Grace EV Free Church in La Mirada with their guys and girls. After they had a private first look moment together, we went to Creek Park (where Kristin and Cory first met) to take pictures before the ceremony. They gave us the generous luxury of two hours to take pictures with them and their bridal party and we had such a wonderful time. :) We then headed back to Grace EV Free, where the bridal party had a chance to relax and unwind before the ceremony began. Despite having seen each other already, emotions ran high as Kristin walked down the aisle. During their ceremony, we heard their love story, as written separately by the bride and groom and read by their pastor. The room was full of so much joy as they exchanged vows and rings. After the ceremony we briefly took a few family photos and then headed to the reception directly outside the church sanctuary. Their two best men and maids of honor each gave entertaining and heart-warming speeches, including some singing and a hilarious acronym-based visual aid. After the bouquet toss, Cory tossed Kristin's garter with a Starbucks gift card to get the guys excited about trying the catch the garter. It worked! :) In between reception events, Kristin and Cory greeted each and every one of their guests. When the reception had come to an end, the newlyweds walked through a sea of bubbles to head off to their honeymoon. We are so honored to have been a part of this day, and we are so thankful for Kristin and Cory's organization - it helped the day go amazingly well.
