Traci & Brian :::: Engagement Session at the Historic Los Rios District

These two make such a fun couple! Traci and Brian met after they were each other's first match on match.com and dated for four years. On her last birthday, Brian gave Traci some normal, expected gifts and then at the end surprised her with an engagement ring! Traci was so surprised, she kept asking if he was kidding and then of course said yes! We met these two down in San Juan Capistrano, right in front of the El Adobe restaurant where they will be tying the knot next year. Then we walked around the old part of downtown San Juan Capistrano, the Los Rios disctrict. The sun was just setting as we walked around, and as we explored and took photos we came across a chicken who was eating and digging in the dirt. She insisted on being in a few of the photos ;) We had such a great time with Traci and Brian and we can't wait for the wedding in March!

Gordon + Hank :: 4/8/23 :: Wedding in Pioneer Town

G+H had the most magical day in the most magical of places— Rimrock Ranch in Pioneer Town, Yucca Valley! The weather was literally perfect and every detail was thoughtful and intentional and executed flawlessly by Katie at Best Day Ever Events! We started with the two grooms taking photo all over the property and even with one of the horses, Ranger. Next, it was time for guest arrival and ceremony where their guests were first greeted by singing from one of their favorite performers, Leslie Page. As the guests began to sample cocktails from Your Little Local and take their seats, each guest was given a red, woven bracelet. Once everyone was seated, the officiant Lori Kahn explained that the grooms wished their guests to infuse their love and positive energy into their bracelets and place them on their wrists. Melissa & Peter :: 11-11-17 :: Wedding in Irvine

Melissa and Peter are such sweeties! We started out their warm sunny wedding day at the Embassy Suites in Santa Ana,  where Melissa got ready with her bridesmaids. After a few fun shots in their robes and everyone was dressed ready to go, Melissa's bestie helped her get into her gorgeous dress, veil and garter. Next, we headed to their venue, the Eureka Building in Irvine where  the bridal party took some photos, being careful to keep bride and groom separate from one another. We also did a first look with Melissa and her dad and a "not" first look with Melissa and Peter, both were so fun and sweet! After those portraits were done, it was ceremony time filled with a sweet and emotional first look, personal vows and three cord braiding ceremony.  Once these two were officially Mr. and Mrs. we spent some time doing family photos, bridal party photos and portraits of the newlyweds in the setting sun.
