Kathryn & Tracy :::: Engagement Session at Disneyland


We love Kathryn and Tracy! I've been friends with Kathryn since college. When she first told me (very excitedly) about this guy she started seeing over a year ago, I knew he was going to be the one. After dating for five or six months, Tracy contacted me and asked for some advice on what kind of ring to get for Kathryn since I know her taste :). After corresponding for a few months, he picked out the perfect ring and I was SO excited when I got his message saying he got it! A few months after that, in May of this year Kathryn and Tracy came down to Disneyland (they live in NorCal) for a vacation and Tracy proposed over a romantic dinner. These two came to visit again this past weekend and we spent a lot of time hanging out with them, talking about the wedding and taking engagement photos in Disneyland! Their wedding will have a victorian and 1940's vintage vibe so these two dressed for the occasion. We are SO honored to be a part of their special day by designing their invitation suite and photographing their big day.

Gordon + Hank :: 4/8/23 :: Wedding in Pioneer Town

G+H had the most magical day in the most magical of places— Rimrock Ranch in Pioneer Town, Yucca Valley! The weather was literally perfect and every detail was thoughtful and intentional and executed flawlessly by Katie at Best Day Ever Events! We started with the two grooms taking photo all over the property and even with one of the horses, Ranger. Next, it was time for guest arrival and ceremony where their guests were first greeted by singing from one of their favorite performers, Leslie Page. As the guests began to sample cocktails from Your Little Local and take their seats, each guest was given a red, woven bracelet. Once everyone was seated, the officiant Lori Kahn explained that the grooms wished their guests to infuse their love and positive energy into their bracelets and place them on their wrists. Melissa & Peter :: 11-11-17 :: Wedding in Irvine

Melissa and Peter are such sweeties! We started out their warm sunny wedding day at the Embassy Suites in Santa Ana,  where Melissa got ready with her bridesmaids. After a few fun shots in their robes and everyone was dressed ready to go, Melissa's bestie helped her get into her gorgeous dress, veil and garter. Next, we headed to their venue, the Eureka Building in Irvine where  the bridal party took some photos, being careful to keep bride and groom separate from one another. We also did a first look with Melissa and her dad and a "not" first look with Melissa and Peter, both were so fun and sweet! After those portraits were done, it was ceremony time filled with a sweet and emotional first look, personal vows and three cord braiding ceremony.  Once these two were officially Mr. and Mrs. we spent some time doing family photos, bridal party photos and portraits of the newlyweds in the setting sun.
