Ruth & Daniel :: 4-11-2014 :: Wedding in Rancho Cucamonga

A beautiful day for a beautiful couple! Ruth and Daniel started their day getting ready at Ruth's childhood home. Once they were ready, we headed over to their beautiful venue, Hidden Oaks in Rancho Cucamonga, where Ruth and her bridesmaids got dressed. Ruth wanted to do a first look with both her dad and Daniel which was SO sweet! Ruth and Daniel's ceremony (and invitations!) were tri-lingual with the majority of the ceremony in Spanish, and their vows in both English and Italian. Their best man serenaded the guests and bride and groom with a beautiful song on the alto sax and then the newlyweds had a sand ceremony with a unique container which will also be able to hold some of our photos! After some time taking photos with family and wedding party, the newlyweds enjoyed their reception complete with a delicious dinner, cake cutting, bouquet and garter toss. We love these two and it was such an honor to be a part of their day!

Gordon + Hank :: 4/8/23 :: Wedding in Pioneer Town

G+H had the most magical day in the most magical of places— Rimrock Ranch in Pioneer Town, Yucca Valley! The weather was literally perfect and every detail was thoughtful and intentional and executed flawlessly by Katie at Best Day Ever Events! We started with the two grooms taking photo all over the property and even with one of the horses, Ranger. Next, it was time for guest arrival and ceremony where their guests were first greeted by singing from one of their favorite performers, Leslie Page. As the guests began to sample cocktails from Your Little Local and take their seats, each guest was given a red, woven bracelet. Once everyone was seated, the officiant Lori Kahn explained that the grooms wished their guests to infuse their love and positive energy into their bracelets and place them on their wrists. Melissa & Peter :: 11-11-17 :: Wedding in Irvine

Melissa and Peter are such sweeties! We started out their warm sunny wedding day at the Embassy Suites in Santa Ana,  where Melissa got ready with her bridesmaids. After a few fun shots in their robes and everyone was dressed ready to go, Melissa's bestie helped her get into her gorgeous dress, veil and garter. Next, we headed to their venue, the Eureka Building in Irvine where  the bridal party took some photos, being careful to keep bride and groom separate from one another. We also did a first look with Melissa and her dad and a "not" first look with Melissa and Peter, both were so fun and sweet! After those portraits were done, it was ceremony time filled with a sweet and emotional first look, personal vows and three cord braiding ceremony.  Once these two were officially Mr. and Mrs. we spent some time doing family photos, bridal party photos and portraits of the newlyweds in the setting sun.
