Kathryn & Scott :::: Engagement Session at Santiago Oaks Regional Park

Kathryn and Scott are so sweet together! We love how much you can see their affection and joy for one another, just by spending time with them :) These two met each other while working together right after they had finished college. After dating for a while, Scott decided he was ready to propose (with a beautiful custom designed ring!). A lover of woodworking, Scott cut out "Marry Me" out of huge pieces of wood and painted them white. He then had them placed them on the sand in Laguna Beach and then he took Kathryn up in a friend's plane for a ride around the beach culminating in a fly over the section of beach with the large letters. Kathryn knew something was up when Scott pointed his GoPro camera at her during their flight and was delightfully surprised when she saw the letters and the beautiful ring. One of my favorite proposal stories so far!! :) We are working with Kathryn and Scott on their save the dates and invitations and we can't wait to photograph their wood/burlap/lace themed wedding next year in March! :)
