Jennifer & Ken :: 7-18-2014 :: Wedding in Long Beach

Jennifer and Ken had such a beautiful and unique wedding in so many ways! After over 10 years together they decided to hold their wedding in a special place for them: their wonderful home in Long Beach. It also happens that Jenn and Ken own their own event hosting business (Night and Day Productions), so every detail was off the charts! Because of tight quarters, their wedding was very intimate with about 30 of their closest friends and family members in attendance. Jennifer and Ken designed their own superb wedding invitations (including the custom made wax monogram with M for  their last name and a little B for Jenn's maiden name). They also didn't have a traditional bridal party: Jenn got ready with her sister, her mom and her best friends at one of her besties home right on the beach. After her mom helped her get dressed, Jenn wanted to do a first look with her girls, which was so cute! :) After everyone finished getting ready, we headed to a local bar for Jenn to have one last drink as a single gal which made for some super fun photos! Nest we all arrived and Jenn and Ken's home for the ceremony which took place in their front yard. During a ceremony filled with laughter and a few tears, Jenn and Ken read beautiful persona vows that they had written for one another. After they "sealed the deal" and were officially Mr. and Mrs., we made a quick drive over to El Dorado Park with  their newlyweds and their immediate family members for a few photos. Then we spent some time taking more photos with the bride and groom which included a trip down to the LA riverbed for some really great pictures where Jenn and Ken bused out their drinks of choice (champagne and whiskey) for a first toast as husband and wife. Next up was party time back at their house! In the backyard, their was a super cool bar set up, along with sofas, chairs, cocktail tables and lounge beds. The front yard had been converted by the NDP staff from a ceremony space to the reception space with long tables, elegant flowers and table numbers made from plates. After dinner and toasts it was time to head inside for a gorgeous cake (with cupcakes and cake pops too!) first dances and them some open dancing. The rest of the night was filled with relaxing, dancing, hookah and socializing. This was such a fun day and we are so honored to be a part of it! Our best wishes for many years of happiness for Mr. and Mrs. Miranda!
