Faith & Michael :::: Engagement Session at Trump Golf Course and San Pedro Singing Fountains

Faith and Michael are seriously the cutest! They met at Biola University (my alma mater!) just over a year ago while they were serving as RA's together and they have been together ever since! For their session, we went to Trump's Golf Course in Rancho Palos Verdes which has a park adjacent to the course that is open to the public and has a trail leading down to the beach. It is such a beautiful location and just so happens to be where these two went on their first date :) After making our way down to the ocean in time for sunset we headed off to our second location the Singing Fountains in Ports o'Call, San Pedro. Michael's grandfather had a hand in designing the beautification of San Pedro, including adding in these fountains. At times intervals, the fountains turn on and play music with a coordinating water show. It is so cool and made for some amazing shots! We had such a wonderful time with these two and we can't wait to photograph their wedding in January! :)

Gordon + Hank :: 4/8/23 :: Wedding in Pioneer Town

G+H had the most magical day in the most magical of places— Rimrock Ranch in Pioneer Town, Yucca Valley! The weather was literally perfect and every detail was thoughtful and intentional and executed flawlessly by Katie at Best Day Ever Events! We started with the two grooms taking photo all over the property and even with one of the horses, Ranger. Next, it was time for guest arrival and ceremony where their guests were first greeted by singing from one of their favorite performers, Leslie Page. As the guests began to sample cocktails from Your Little Local and take their seats, each guest was given a red, woven bracelet. Once everyone was seated, the officiant Lori Kahn explained that the grooms wished their guests to infuse their love and positive energy into their bracelets and place them on their wrists. Melissa & Peter :: 11-11-17 :: Wedding in Irvine

Melissa and Peter are such sweeties! We started out their warm sunny wedding day at the Embassy Suites in Santa Ana,  where Melissa got ready with her bridesmaids. After a few fun shots in their robes and everyone was dressed ready to go, Melissa's bestie helped her get into her gorgeous dress, veil and garter. Next, we headed to their venue, the Eureka Building in Irvine where  the bridal party took some photos, being careful to keep bride and groom separate from one another. We also did a first look with Melissa and her dad and a "not" first look with Melissa and Peter, both were so fun and sweet! After those portraits were done, it was ceremony time filled with a sweet and emotional first look, personal vows and three cord braiding ceremony.  Once these two were officially Mr. and Mrs. we spent some time doing family photos, bridal party photos and portraits of the newlyweds in the setting sun.
