Marissa & Nathan :: 1-3-2015 :: Wedding in Rancho Cucamonga

This day was so unbelievably beautiful! Marissa and Nathan got married on a crisp January day at Hidden Oaks in Rancho Cucamonga (one of our favorite venues!) and they really meshed their nature/rustic/vintage theme easily with this gorgeous location! Their colors were gold, green, blush pink and touches of purple, and they were elegantly dispersed throughout the decor and attire of the day. Our day began with some detail and getting ready shots. I had the distinct pleasure of working with Marissa to design and create the flower crowns that she and her flower girl wore, and it was so exciting to finally see them worn on the big day! After everyone was dressed, Marissa and Nathan snuck over to a quiet place inside to pray together before the ceremony without seeing one another. It was such a sweet moment :) The ceremony followed shortly after and was filled with prayer, scripture, vows and one of the sweetest first looks we've seen in a long time! Family and bridal party portraits followed the ceremony and we were sure to take photos at Marissa's favorite location at the venue, the stone side of the building. We then took the newlyweds down into a woodsy area for some lovely golden hour portraits. Next it was time for them to be announced at their reception as the newly minted Mr. and Mrs. Richey! The reception decor featured succulent favors, chalkboard signs, house number table numbers, a dessert and candy bar and our favorite-----the M & N marquee sign made by the groom himself! Upon entering their reception, the couple went into their first dance, followed by a delicious meal. Afterwards, we snuck away to take a few more photos of the bride and groom in the last of the setting sun. When night fell, everyone danced the night away in-between the garter and bouquet tosses and the cake cutting. This was such a splendid day celebrating such a beautiful and loving couple----what a great way to start 2015!
