Lauren & Jason :::: Engagement Session at LACMA

Lauren is a wonderful friend of ours from our days at Biola who we reconnected with again over the past year! When we met up again she was dating this super sweet guy named Jason :) Little did we know that in a few short months after almost 5 years together these two would become engaged! Jason asked Lauren to marry him in a wildflower field while they were visiting Colorado. He didn't have a ring, so he picked a flower and put it around her finger! How romantic is that? Once they returned home, Lauren pressed the flower in one of her favorite books, and they searched on Etsy for the perfect vintage flower engagement ring. I love their common desire for a combination of tradition and non-tradition, it shows how much they are really meant for one another! For their session we incororated Jason's love of archetectural lines and structure with Lauren's love of nature and art, both in their attire and the location of their session, the Los Angeles County Musuem of Art. You can really see in so many of these candids the love and joy these two share (it helps so much when you are friends with your photographers!) and how their personalities shone through these photos.

We are SO excited for them and can't wait to photograph the big day later this year!
