Fevan & Brandon :: 8-2-2015 :: Wedding in Chino Hills and Corona

Fevan and Brandon had such a beautiful day! These two met thought friends while attending college at Biola University (our alma mater!). One semester they had the same class break, so they kept running into one another in the cafeteria! One thing led to another and after two years, they got engaged last December in Laguna Beach :D Something unique about their day is Fevan has such a special family; she and some of her siblings are adopted (she is the oldest of 7 siblings!) and because of their amazing mixed family and everyone’s overwhelming joy throughout their day, their wedding had the feeling of a large family reunion instead of a formal wedding. Everything from the large and amazingly fun bridal party, to the long table seating at the reception, to the numerous toasts and crazy fun dancing contributed to the feel of community, love and celebration that was the hallmark of their day. We started out with Fevan getting ready at her parents' house and Brandon getting ready at the Chino Valley Community Church in Chino Hills, their ceremony site. We documented all the beautiful details including her stunningly beautiful wedding dress, to which she had elegant lace and delicate off the shoulder sleeves. Brandon gifted his groomsmen with some stellar watches that they were excited to show off for the camera! Next was Fevan and Brandon's first look at a park nearby their church :) After we took bridal party and some bride and groom portraits photos it was time for the ceremony. Fevan and Brandon exchanged vows of love in front of their guests in the beautifully decorated sanctuary. After the ceremony, we spent some time with the bride and groom in the beautiful hilly grasslands of Chino Hills documenting some quiet moments of love. After traveling to their stunning reception venue, the Heritage Park of Corona, we spent some time documenting their reception details and soaking in the joyful energy of their guests. When the bride and groom entered their reception and as the sun set, the new Mr. and Mrs. Mancini had their first dance. Next we all enjoyed a delicious taco dinner, followed by sweet toasts by the bridal party, the father-daughter and mother-son dances, the cake cutting (the simple cake was stunning!) and the bouquet/garter tosses. As darkness descended, the party had a blast dancing night away! Because photos are such a high priority for these two and time was a little short on the wedding day, we will be doing a styled newlywed shoot coming up later this year and we can’t wait to work with these two again! :D
