Rhosemarie & Daniel :: 7-22-2015 :: Wedding in Pacific Palisades

What a joyous and romantic day! Rhosemarie and Daniel's subtle Beauty and the Beast inspired wedding was held at the beautiful Bel Air Bay Club in Pacific Palisades on a Wednesday, their tenth anniversary! We started the day by getting some detail and getting ready shots. Rhose did her make-up and hair and got dressed in the beautiful bride's room. After everyone was dressed, I took some photos with Rhose and the girls while Tim took some photos with Dan and his groomsmen. Then overlooking the beautiful sparkling ocean, Rhose and Dan exchanged vows and incorporated some traditional Catholic marriage traditions such as the lasso and coin exchange. After the ceremony, we took photos all around the gorgeous castle-like grounds. Next up was the beautiful and grand reception, decorated with Beauty the Beast themed centerpieces, including one red rose at the sweetheart table. After first dances, toasts, cake cutting and socializing the party really got started with a hilarous garter and bouquet toss and some amazing dancing!

Gordon + Hank :: 4/8/23 :: Wedding in Pioneer Town

G+H had the most magical day in the most magical of places— Rimrock Ranch in Pioneer Town, Yucca Valley! The weather was literally perfect and every detail was thoughtful and intentional and executed flawlessly by Katie at Best Day Ever Events! We started with the two grooms taking photo all over the property and even with one of the horses, Ranger. Next, it was time for guest arrival and ceremony where their guests were first greeted by singing from one of their favorite performers, Leslie Page. As the guests began to sample cocktails from Your Little Local and take their seats, each guest was given a red, woven bracelet. Once everyone was seated, the officiant Lori Kahn explained that the grooms wished their guests to infuse their love and positive energy into their bracelets and place them on their wrists. Melissa & Peter :: 11-11-17 :: Wedding in Irvine

Melissa and Peter are such sweeties! We started out their warm sunny wedding day at the Embassy Suites in Santa Ana,  where Melissa got ready with her bridesmaids. After a few fun shots in their robes and everyone was dressed ready to go, Melissa's bestie helped her get into her gorgeous dress, veil and garter. Next, we headed to their venue, the Eureka Building in Irvine where  the bridal party took some photos, being careful to keep bride and groom separate from one another. We also did a first look with Melissa and her dad and a "not" first look with Melissa and Peter, both were so fun and sweet! After those portraits were done, it was ceremony time filled with a sweet and emotional first look, personal vows and three cord braiding ceremony.  Once these two were officially Mr. and Mrs. we spent some time doing family photos, bridal party photos and portraits of the newlyweds in the setting sun.
