Stevi & Sam :: 9-19-2015 :: Wedding in Rancho Cucamonga

A beautiful day for a beautiful couple! Stevi and Sam started their day warm wedding day getting ready at their beautiful venue, Hidden Oaks in Rancho Cucamonga (one of our favorite venues!) After everyone was ready and guests were seated, the ceremony followed and was filled with prayer, scripture, vows and a sand ceremony. Family and bridal party portraits followed the beautiful ceremony and then we then took the newlyweds down into a woodsy area for some lovely sun-filled portraits. We loved designing a custom chalkboard for some photos, it fit so well with the light and romantic feel of the day! Next it was time for them to be announced at their reception as the newly minted Mr. and Mrs. Abbott! Upon entering their reception, everyone was treated to a delicious dinner, followed by toasts and then the couple went into their first dance, followed by the father/daughter and mother/son dances. After some dancing, cake cutting and the bouquet and garter tosses, we snuck away to take a few more photos of the bride and groom in the magical ceremony space. It was such a pleasure to be a part of this gorgeous and love-filled day!

Gordon + Hank :: 4/8/23 :: Wedding in Pioneer Town

G+H had the most magical day in the most magical of places— Rimrock Ranch in Pioneer Town, Yucca Valley! The weather was literally perfect and every detail was thoughtful and intentional and executed flawlessly by Katie at Best Day Ever Events! We started with the two grooms taking photo all over the property and even with one of the horses, Ranger. Next, it was time for guest arrival and ceremony where their guests were first greeted by singing from one of their favorite performers, Leslie Page. As the guests began to sample cocktails from Your Little Local and take their seats, each guest was given a red, woven bracelet. Once everyone was seated, the officiant Lori Kahn explained that the grooms wished their guests to infuse their love and positive energy into their bracelets and place them on their wrists. Melissa & Peter :: 11-11-17 :: Wedding in Irvine

Melissa and Peter are such sweeties! We started out their warm sunny wedding day at the Embassy Suites in Santa Ana,  where Melissa got ready with her bridesmaids. After a few fun shots in their robes and everyone was dressed ready to go, Melissa's bestie helped her get into her gorgeous dress, veil and garter. Next, we headed to their venue, the Eureka Building in Irvine where  the bridal party took some photos, being careful to keep bride and groom separate from one another. We also did a first look with Melissa and her dad and a "not" first look with Melissa and Peter, both were so fun and sweet! After those portraits were done, it was ceremony time filled with a sweet and emotional first look, personal vows and three cord braiding ceremony.  Once these two were officially Mr. and Mrs. we spent some time doing family photos, bridal party photos and portraits of the newlyweds in the setting sun.
