Alexa & Dan :: 2-20-2016 :: Wedding in Pasadena

Alexa and Dan's day was a long time coming, but it was worth it as it was simply stunning! From the rose-gold foil invitations by Minted to the Mrs. Box for their ring photos to the gorgeous flowers designed by the mother of the bride, the details on this wedding were off the charts! Their venue was the gorgeous and serene Storrier-Stearns Japanese Garden in Pasadena, a private residence with an extensive Japanese garden which includes a traditional tea house, and was the focal point of their ceremony. The day was coordinated by Lisa at Style My Soiree and everything went off without a hitch, and in the end, Alexa and Dan were hitched! The day began with us capturing some details while the bride and groom got ready at the main house on the property. After a sweet first look, we took some portraits around the property and then it was time for the ceremony. In front of a very intimate group of guests, Alexa and Dan exchanged vows and rings and were pronounced husband and wife! Their reception was filled with twinkle lights, delicious served hors d'oeuvres (by, socializing, toasts, formal dances and the cutting of their gorgeous cake (by Cynthia Brooks Catering) Simply Cupcakes of Pasadena). After all the formal reception events were complete, we journeyed across the street to capture some amazing long-exposure sparkler shots---it was so much fun! We had a blast with these two and their families and friends on their special day and we wish them many, many years of joy!
