Adriana & Carlos :: 4-24-2016 :: Wedding in Whittier

What a joyous and romantic day! Adriana and Carlos' subtle Disney inspired wedding was held at the beautiful Swiss Banquet Center in Whitter on a cloudy and sunny day. We started the day by getting some detail and getting ready shots. Adriana did her make-up and hair and got dressed in the bride's room above the main banquet hall. After everyone was dressed, I took some photos with Adriana and her sisters while Tim took some photos with Carlos and his best man. Then front of the gorgeous gazebo surrounded by their closest friends and family, Adriana and Carlos exchanged vows, lit a unity candle (despite it being a breezy day) and gave roses to their moms as a thank you. After the ceremony, we took photos all around the lush grounds. Next up was the beautiful and grand reception, decorated with gold, pink and purple, including small, sweet details at the sweetheart table. After first dances, toasts, cake cutting and socializing we snuck the bride and groom out for one last shot in the twinkle lights decorating the property. It was such an honor being a part of this special day from designing their invitations to sharing the wedding capturing with our favorite videographer, Charles at Amante Weddings! Gordon + Hank :: 4/8/23 :: Wedding in Pioneer Town

G+H had the most magical day in the most magical of places— Rimrock Ranch in Pioneer Town, Yucca Valley! The weather was literally perfect and every detail was thoughtful and intentional and executed flawlessly by Katie at Best Day Ever Events! We started with the two grooms taking photo all over the property and even with one of the horses, Ranger. Next, it was time for guest arrival and ceremony where their guests were first greeted by singing from one of their favorite performers, Leslie Page. As the guests began to sample cocktails from Your Little Local and take their seats, each guest was given a red, woven bracelet. Once everyone was seated, the officiant Lori Kahn explained that the grooms wished their guests to infuse their love and positive energy into their bracelets and place them on their wrists. Melissa & Peter :: 11-11-17 :: Wedding in Irvine

Melissa and Peter are such sweeties! We started out their warm sunny wedding day at the Embassy Suites in Santa Ana,  where Melissa got ready with her bridesmaids. After a few fun shots in their robes and everyone was dressed ready to go, Melissa's bestie helped her get into her gorgeous dress, veil and garter. Next, we headed to their venue, the Eureka Building in Irvine where  the bridal party took some photos, being careful to keep bride and groom separate from one another. We also did a first look with Melissa and her dad and a "not" first look with Melissa and Peter, both were so fun and sweet! After those portraits were done, it was ceremony time filled with a sweet and emotional first look, personal vows and three cord braiding ceremony.  Once these two were officially Mr. and Mrs. we spent some time doing family photos, bridal party photos and portraits of the newlyweds in the setting sun.
