Meredith & Nick :: 4-16-2016 :: Wedding in Claremont

The amount of cuteness from Meredith and Nick was just overwhelmingly good :) This day was so unconventional in so many ways, but knowing these two and their quirkiness, you wouldn’t expect it any other way. These two met, fell in love, got engaged and got married at Pomona College with their wedding being held at the Seaver Alumni House. We began our day at Casa 425, an amazing boutique hotel in Claremont, where Meredith got ready with her sister and her mom and we documented all the fun little details (including Meredith’s stunning BHLDN dress!). After make-up and hair were done and the dress on, we all traveled over to the Seaver House for a first look. These two, not being ones to take things too seriously, had some hilarious reactions when seeing each other mixed of course with their genuine joy at finally getting married. We next took a tour of Pomona’s campus around some of Meredith and Nick’s favorite spots including taking some photos in and around the bio building where they first met and around one of the most beautiful places on campus, the main quad. After their portraits were done, we met up with their bridal party, Nick’s brother and Meredith’s sister for some bridal party shots and then it was time for the ceremony to begin! My favorite party of the ceremony was when their officiant (the professor who mentored Nick and introduced these two to each other) was talking about all the people there to support them and love them and a baby started crying. It was perfect haha :) After having a little difficulty during the ring exchange, they were finally pronounced Mr. and Mrs. We retreated to the house for some family photos and then these two strolled into their reception where they ate and socialized with their guests. The only formal events at the reception were some toasts and the rest of the time was filled with eating the delicious desserts provided by SomeCrust Bakery and The Donut Manenjoying the photo booth set up (couch and other vintage rentals from the lovely ladies of Thrifted Sisters Vintage Rentals) and socializing. It was such a special, unique and sentimental day and we are so honored we could be a part of it!
