Nicole & Andrew :: 6-18-2016 :: Wedding in Camarillo

What a beautiful day it was for Nicole and Andrew! These two wed the lovely and oh-so-picture-perfect McCormick Ranch in Camarillo! The beautiful pink and green floral invitations set the tone for the day: a romantic, vintage with elegant touches relaxed party with greens, pinks and neutrals as the colors of the day! We started out with capturing all those little details you want to remember as Nicole put on some finishing touches in her room at the ranch. Nicole then donned her beautiful dress surrounded by her girls and got ready to see her groom! After a sweet first look we spend some time together in the beautiful afternoon sun taking portraits. We met up with the bridal party at the large green barn on the property to take some more photos. Their short and sweet ceremony followed and after some fun moments, laughter, exchange of rings and vows, these two were married! Family photos followed and then it was time to join the party! The newlyweds went right into their first dance, followed by dinner, toasts cake cutting at the cookie bar and an emotional mother/son dance. Finally, after all the reception events were completed, we stole the newlyweds away from the party some romantic shots in the setting golden hour sun! It was such a marveous day for such a wonderful couple, we wish them many years of joy and happiness :D

Gordon + Hank :: 4/8/23 :: Wedding in Pioneer Town

G+H had the most magical day in the most magical of places— Rimrock Ranch in Pioneer Town, Yucca Valley! The weather was literally perfect and every detail was thoughtful and intentional and executed flawlessly by Katie at Best Day Ever Events! We started with the two grooms taking photo all over the property and even with one of the horses, Ranger. Next, it was time for guest arrival and ceremony where their guests were first greeted by singing from one of their favorite performers, Leslie Page. As the guests began to sample cocktails from Your Little Local and take their seats, each guest was given a red, woven bracelet. Once everyone was seated, the officiant Lori Kahn explained that the grooms wished their guests to infuse their love and positive energy into their bracelets and place them on their wrists. Melissa & Peter :: 11-11-17 :: Wedding in Irvine

Melissa and Peter are such sweeties! We started out their warm sunny wedding day at the Embassy Suites in Santa Ana,  where Melissa got ready with her bridesmaids. After a few fun shots in their robes and everyone was dressed ready to go, Melissa's bestie helped her get into her gorgeous dress, veil and garter. Next, we headed to their venue, the Eureka Building in Irvine where  the bridal party took some photos, being careful to keep bride and groom separate from one another. We also did a first look with Melissa and her dad and a "not" first look with Melissa and Peter, both were so fun and sweet! After those portraits were done, it was ceremony time filled with a sweet and emotional first look, personal vows and three cord braiding ceremony.  Once these two were officially Mr. and Mrs. we spent some time doing family photos, bridal party photos and portraits of the newlyweds in the setting sun.
