Sarah & Patrick :: Anniversary Session :: Year One

Sarah and Patrick are the cutest! I first came into contact with them over a year ago when they inquired if I could shoot their wedding :) Although we weren't able to make the scheduling work out, I knew I would be seeing them at some point! They were one of the runners-up in my anniversary session giveaway from earlier this year and I was so excited that they wanted to style up their session as a summery, vintage picnic. I designed the set up as well as the florals and Sarah brought all the food and some of the decor! We chose the beautiful Riley Wilderness Park as our location and the light was just absolutely incredible. These two are so sweet and gentle together and I am so excited for what the future holds for them!

Our first to two weddings this year and boy oh boy was it a good one (despite the unseasonably warm heat!). Sasha and Brenden tied the knot at the stunning Muckenthalar Mansion , just a few miles from our home! Our day with the couple started with their first look, wedding party and couple's portraits. Before we knew it, it was ceremony time. After one of the quickest (but sweetest!) ceremonies ever, featuring a "first shot" of tequila, these two were officially official! After family photos and some detail shots it was time to party. During the reception their guests enjoyed dinner, speeches, cake cutting, parent dances and creating a custom work of abstract art for the couple to hang in their home! Once the dance floor was opened with a giant group shot, we stole the couple away for some magical golden hour photos at the end of our time with them. A beautiful end for a stunning day! Cherie & Max :: 4/9/2022 :: Wedding in Los Angeles

Another postponed wedding couple that finally got to have their day! YAYYYYYY! This was the most wonderful pink wedding of my dreams and every detail was off the charts!  Their venue, Ruby Street in Highland Park,  was a perfect setting to apply all their incredible colorful touches and to have a fun, beautiful day! We started out with Cheri's details and getting ready at the venue. After Cherie had donned her incredible pink and sparkly Lazaro gown and Max was all suited up in his custom pink suit, these two shared their first look!  After some more photos around the venue and meeting up with their wedding party, it was finally time for their sweet and short ceremony. Yasmin & Kaitlyn :::: Newlywed Session in Joshua Tree

Back in November, I put out a model call in the SBSN Facebook group offering free sessions for LGBTQ+ couples to add more beautiful couples to our portfolio that reflect our beliefs as LGBTQ+ allies! Yasmin was one of the first to respond and we planned this amazing golden hour session in Joshua Tree with her and her beautiful wife Kaitlyn! These two were such troopers in the wind and the cold and we got some amazing photos in this amazing place. The love and energy between them is electric and that even came through with a few static shocks that Yasmin gave Kaitlyn when I gave them a cheek kiss prompt! So cute!
