Leesha & Russell :: 7-2-2016 :: Wedding at the Disneyland Hotels

What a beautiful and magical day it was for Leesha and Russell! How could it not be, they got married at Disneyland* (specifically the Rose Court Garden at the Disneyland Hotel and the Grand California Hotel!). The letterpress invitations by Catharine Perry set the tone for the day: a romantic, fairy-tale, "Tangled" themed day filled with gorgeous florals, fun and of course plenty of Harry Potter touches! We started out with Leesha getting ready at the Disneyland Hotel close to the ceremony site. After Leesha had donned her beautiful Maggie Sotero dress with the help of her sweet mom, she had some finishing touches with her bridesmaids. Next Leesha and Russell shared their first look at the Rose Court Garden gazebo. After a few moments spent together in the beautiful afternoon sun, we pinned boutonnieres and met up with the bridal party for some more portraits over by the Grand California Hotel. Their short and sweet ceremony followed and after some fun moments, laughter, exchange of rings and pronouncement, these two were married! It was one of our quickest ceremonies ever! :D Their first kiss was followed by much celebration, bubbles and cheers of joy from their closest friends and family, who were gathered to witness their big day. After cocktail hour where we stole the bride and groom stole away for a few moments together in the beautiful sunlight and then they got to join their party! All the elegant Disney, DIY elements and personalized details were off the charts! Once all the guests were seated, the bridal party made their grand entrance into the reception, and the new Mr. and Mrs. Havens went right into their first dance, followed by toasts and dinner. For their cake cutting, Leesha and Russell were joined by non other than Mickey and Minnie themselves for some fun moments and photos! It was such a blast! Finally, after all the reception events were completed, we stole the newlyweds away from the party for a romantic end of the night shot. It was such a marveous day for such a wonderful couple and we wish them many years of joy and happiness!
