Lizette & Jason :: 9-9-2016 :: Wedding in Walnut and Diamond Bar

Lizette and Jason are such sweeties! We first met Lizette when she came to her sister’s wedding photography consultation meeting with us two years ago! We loved working with Lizette and Rebecca on Rebecca and Ruben’s photos so it was no surprise when we heard from Lizette a year later that it was her turn to walk down the aisle! We started out their warm sunny wedding day at the Holiday Inn, Diamond Bar where both Lizette and Jason got ready with their bridesmaids, groomsmen and families. After a few fun shots in their robes and everyone was dressed ready to go, Lizette's mom and Rebecca helped her get into her gorgeous dress, veil and garter. There is a gorgeous park adjacent to their church, Snow Creek Park, so after everyone was ready, the bridal party took some photos, being careful to keep bride and groom separate from one another.. After those portraits were done, we all made our way to their church, St. Lorenzo Catholic Church in Walnut for the ceremony mass. Once the ceremony was complete we spent some time doing family photos at the church and then headed to the reception venue, the Diamond Bar Center for bridal party photos and portraits of the newlyweds. Next it was time for the party to begin! The reception was full of fun details like a customized shot glass and matches favors, light monogram, and of course, the epic donut bar! Upon joyfully entering their reception, Lizette and Jason had their first dance. Then they spent some time greeting, and thanking each of their guests and listening to toasts. After dinner, Lizette danced with her dad and Jason with his mom, both were so incredibly sweet. After the bouquet, garter toss and cake cutting there was some epic dancing from their amazing guests. Finally we took them outside for a few fun end of the night shots, where the videography team provided us with some “fog in a can” with some amazing results. It was such a tremendous pleasure to be a part of this amazing day!

Gordon + Hank :: 4/8/23 :: Wedding in Pioneer Town

G+H had the most magical day in the most magical of places— Rimrock Ranch in Pioneer Town, Yucca Valley! The weather was literally perfect and every detail was thoughtful and intentional and executed flawlessly by Katie at Best Day Ever Events! We started with the two grooms taking photo all over the property and even with one of the horses, Ranger. Next, it was time for guest arrival and ceremony where their guests were first greeted by singing from one of their favorite performers, Leslie Page. As the guests began to sample cocktails from Your Little Local and take their seats, each guest was given a red, woven bracelet. Once everyone was seated, the officiant Lori Kahn explained that the grooms wished their guests to infuse their love and positive energy into their bracelets and place them on their wrists. Melissa & Peter :: 11-11-17 :: Wedding in Irvine

Melissa and Peter are such sweeties! We started out their warm sunny wedding day at the Embassy Suites in Santa Ana,  where Melissa got ready with her bridesmaids. After a few fun shots in their robes and everyone was dressed ready to go, Melissa's bestie helped her get into her gorgeous dress, veil and garter. Next, we headed to their venue, the Eureka Building in Irvine where  the bridal party took some photos, being careful to keep bride and groom separate from one another. We also did a first look with Melissa and her dad and a "not" first look with Melissa and Peter, both were so fun and sweet! After those portraits were done, it was ceremony time filled with a sweet and emotional first look, personal vows and three cord braiding ceremony.  Once these two were officially Mr. and Mrs. we spent some time doing family photos, bridal party photos and portraits of the newlyweds in the setting sun.
