Radhika & Alvaro :::: Engagement Session at Salvation Mountain

The three hour drive to Salvation Mountain was so worth it for these epically colorful photos! Radhika and Alvaro (or Rad and Al!) are seriously so much fun together! We spent our entire session laughing, joking and teasing, it was the best! They first met while working together where they were initially friends, started gradually dating and the rest is history. Consistent with their casual laid back style, Al asked Rad to marry him while she was chilling on the couch in her jammies, and of course she said yes! We had a blast exploring Salvation Mountain wayyyyy out in the desert by the Salton Sea, it is such a surreal yet beautiful place. We brought a few props; florals we designed and a fabulous "all you need is love" sign, fitting for a place where the theme is love! Rad and Al's wedding day is fast approaching in February, and we are so excited to be photographing and doing the flowers for their intimate wedding.

Gordon + Hank :: 4/8/23 :: Wedding in Pioneer Town

G+H had the most magical day in the most magical of places— Rimrock Ranch in Pioneer Town, Yucca Valley! The weather was literally perfect and every detail was thoughtful and intentional and executed flawlessly by Katie at Best Day Ever Events! We started with the two grooms taking photo all over the property and even with one of the horses, Ranger. Next, it was time for guest arrival and ceremony where their guests were first greeted by singing from one of their favorite performers, Leslie Page. As the guests began to sample cocktails from Your Little Local and take their seats, each guest was given a red, woven bracelet. Once everyone was seated, the officiant Lori Kahn explained that the grooms wished their guests to infuse their love and positive energy into their bracelets and place them on their wrists. Melissa & Peter :: 11-11-17 :: Wedding in Irvine

Melissa and Peter are such sweeties! We started out their warm sunny wedding day at the Embassy Suites in Santa Ana,  where Melissa got ready with her bridesmaids. After a few fun shots in their robes and everyone was dressed ready to go, Melissa's bestie helped her get into her gorgeous dress, veil and garter. Next, we headed to their venue, the Eureka Building in Irvine where  the bridal party took some photos, being careful to keep bride and groom separate from one another. We also did a first look with Melissa and her dad and a "not" first look with Melissa and Peter, both were so fun and sweet! After those portraits were done, it was ceremony time filled with a sweet and emotional first look, personal vows and three cord braiding ceremony.  Once these two were officially Mr. and Mrs. we spent some time doing family photos, bridal party photos and portraits of the newlyweds in the setting sun.
