Amanda & Jason :: 12-3-2016 :: Wedding in Anaheim Hills

What a fun day for this well-deserving couple! This was a shorter wedding day for us, we only took photos up till the reception as these two wanted to have a casual laid back party at their house without the need for more photos. But despite a smaller schedule, this wedding was jam packed with so much joy, love and beauty! I also had the distinct pleasure of designing and creating the personal florals for this wedding, it was such a fun color palette to work with! We started our photos at Amanda and Jason's home in Corona where Amanda got ready with her bridesmaids. After everyone was ready we made our way over to the Oak Canyon Nature Center where we had a first look with our couple and took some time taking portraits with the bridal party, family, soon-to-be Mr. and Mrs. and the new family being formed with Amanda's son Caleb. An emotional ceremony followed with traditional and personalized vows, a sand ceremony incorporating Caleb, and communion. Finally these two were pronounced husband and wife! We took one large group shot with everyone at their ceremony and then these two spent some time socializing with their guests before making their way off to their reception. It was such a privilege to be a part of this meaningful day and so fun to be able to contribute to the design and florals of the wedding as well! Cheers to Mr. and Mrs. Nguyen!

Gordon + Hank :: 4/8/23 :: Wedding in Pioneer Town

G+H had the most magical day in the most magical of places— Rimrock Ranch in Pioneer Town, Yucca Valley! The weather was literally perfect and every detail was thoughtful and intentional and executed flawlessly by Katie at Best Day Ever Events! We started with the two grooms taking photo all over the property and even with one of the horses, Ranger. Next, it was time for guest arrival and ceremony where their guests were first greeted by singing from one of their favorite performers, Leslie Page. As the guests began to sample cocktails from Your Little Local and take their seats, each guest was given a red, woven bracelet. Once everyone was seated, the officiant Lori Kahn explained that the grooms wished their guests to infuse their love and positive energy into their bracelets and place them on their wrists. Melissa & Peter :: 11-11-17 :: Wedding in Irvine

Melissa and Peter are such sweeties! We started out their warm sunny wedding day at the Embassy Suites in Santa Ana,  where Melissa got ready with her bridesmaids. After a few fun shots in their robes and everyone was dressed ready to go, Melissa's bestie helped her get into her gorgeous dress, veil and garter. Next, we headed to their venue, the Eureka Building in Irvine where  the bridal party took some photos, being careful to keep bride and groom separate from one another. We also did a first look with Melissa and her dad and a "not" first look with Melissa and Peter, both were so fun and sweet! After those portraits were done, it was ceremony time filled with a sweet and emotional first look, personal vows and three cord braiding ceremony.  Once these two were officially Mr. and Mrs. we spent some time doing family photos, bridal party photos and portraits of the newlyweds in the setting sun.
