Melissa & Peter :::: Engagement Session in Old Town Orange & Santiago Oaks Regional Park

How cute are Melissa and Peter? They first met way back in high school but were by no means high school sweethearts. They just remained friends and reconnected years later, and that friendship turned into dating and the rest was history! They got engaged last Thanksgiving while she was FaceTiming with her best friend, who was in on the proposal and wanted to be there with the rest of their families without being there in person. So sweet! For their session they wanted both an old town urban vibe and gorgeous natural setting so we started at Old Towne Orange and then went over to Santiago Oaks Regional Park. It was raining off and on throughout the day and that pattern continued throughout our session, despite the forecast saying it was done! Luckily the rain was light and sparse enough for us to keep going with our session and not get totally drenched. We brought along our fun clear umbrella for some fun shots and also brought along the amazing better together sign I have created by Mulberry Market Designs :) Can't wait for these two to get hitched in November!
