Radhika & Alvaro :: 2-10-2017 :: Wedding in Santa Ana

What can I say about Rad and Al? These two are so much fun just to be around, it makes sense that they would have a super fun and laid back wedding day! These two started their day both getting ready in separate suites of the ALO Hotel in Orange. After everyone was dressed, we all traveled over to the beautiful Bowers Museum for Rad and Al to do their first look and take some portraits with their bridal party. We had the honor of designing and creating the bouquets and boutonnieres for this fun-loving bridal party and they turned out so colorful and bright! After portraits were complete and we travelled over to their gorgeous venue, The Hacienda in Santa Ana and did some more portraits and captured some details and set up shots of this beautiful and unique venue. After the sun set, and the rain that had held off all day finally began to sprinkle, these two exchanged vows and rings and were finally husband and wife! After some family portraits, the bridal party and newlyweds joined the party and their beautiful twinkle-light filled reception filled with bright colors and sweet details. Their reception was full of joyful toasts, sweet cake cutting and a final romantic shot under the twinkle lights. We are so excited for these two to begin their lives together as Mr. and Mrs.!

Gordon + Hank :: 4/8/23 :: Wedding in Pioneer Town

G+H had the most magical day in the most magical of places— Rimrock Ranch in Pioneer Town, Yucca Valley! The weather was literally perfect and every detail was thoughtful and intentional and executed flawlessly by Katie at Best Day Ever Events! We started with the two grooms taking photo all over the property and even with one of the horses, Ranger. Next, it was time for guest arrival and ceremony where their guests were first greeted by singing from one of their favorite performers, Leslie Page. As the guests began to sample cocktails from Your Little Local and take their seats, each guest was given a red, woven bracelet. Once everyone was seated, the officiant Lori Kahn explained that the grooms wished their guests to infuse their love and positive energy into their bracelets and place them on their wrists. Melissa & Peter :: 11-11-17 :: Wedding in Irvine

Melissa and Peter are such sweeties! We started out their warm sunny wedding day at the Embassy Suites in Santa Ana,  where Melissa got ready with her bridesmaids. After a few fun shots in their robes and everyone was dressed ready to go, Melissa's bestie helped her get into her gorgeous dress, veil and garter. Next, we headed to their venue, the Eureka Building in Irvine where  the bridal party took some photos, being careful to keep bride and groom separate from one another. We also did a first look with Melissa and her dad and a "not" first look with Melissa and Peter, both were so fun and sweet! After those portraits were done, it was ceremony time filled with a sweet and emotional first look, personal vows and three cord braiding ceremony.  Once these two were officially Mr. and Mrs. we spent some time doing family photos, bridal party photos and portraits of the newlyweds in the setting sun.
