Jennifer & Emilio :: 3-25-2017 :: Wedding in Bellflower

Jennifer and Emilio had such a lovely day! We started their day at Jennifer’s home in Downey where the bride and her family got ready. After some detail shots including some of the bride's gorgeous blush gown, Jennifer finished getting dressed with the assistance of her mom and sisters and we packed everything up and headed for the lovely Heritage Park Santa Fe Springs. There the couple had their first look, and we took some bridal party and bride and groom shots around the gorgeous grounds, including some with Emilio’s son Dylan.Then we headed to Alfa Y Omega Pentecostal Christian Church where Jennifer’s parents are the head pastors. It was beautiful to see these two commit to a lifetime of love with their closest family and friends and to have the father of the bride marry the couple! After these two were officially Mr. and Mrs., we took some photos of the family, bridal party and the newlyweds at the front of the church by the beautiful stained glass :) The grand entrance was followed dinner and table visits and cake cutting! We had such a pleasure being a part of this beautiful day celebrating love and family!

Gordon + Hank :: 4/8/23 :: Wedding in Pioneer Town

G+H had the most magical day in the most magical of places— Rimrock Ranch in Pioneer Town, Yucca Valley! The weather was literally perfect and every detail was thoughtful and intentional and executed flawlessly by Katie at Best Day Ever Events! We started with the two grooms taking photo all over the property and even with one of the horses, Ranger. Next, it was time for guest arrival and ceremony where their guests were first greeted by singing from one of their favorite performers, Leslie Page. As the guests began to sample cocktails from Your Little Local and take their seats, each guest was given a red, woven bracelet. Once everyone was seated, the officiant Lori Kahn explained that the grooms wished their guests to infuse their love and positive energy into their bracelets and place them on their wrists. Melissa & Peter :: 11-11-17 :: Wedding in Irvine

Melissa and Peter are such sweeties! We started out their warm sunny wedding day at the Embassy Suites in Santa Ana,  where Melissa got ready with her bridesmaids. After a few fun shots in their robes and everyone was dressed ready to go, Melissa's bestie helped her get into her gorgeous dress, veil and garter. Next, we headed to their venue, the Eureka Building in Irvine where  the bridal party took some photos, being careful to keep bride and groom separate from one another. We also did a first look with Melissa and her dad and a "not" first look with Melissa and Peter, both were so fun and sweet! After those portraits were done, it was ceremony time filled with a sweet and emotional first look, personal vows and three cord braiding ceremony.  Once these two were officially Mr. and Mrs. we spent some time doing family photos, bridal party photos and portraits of the newlyweds in the setting sun.
