Kelley & Colin :: 5-13-2017 :: Wedding in San Diego

Kelley and Colin are such a beautiful couple and they had wonderful and beautiful day! We had the pleasure of working with these two on designing their invites and from start to finish, their wedding was really a group effort with so many elements being DIY by the bride and her family! We began the day at their AirBnb in San Diego near their venue to capture some details and then headed over to their reception venue, the San Diego Thursday Club where both Kelley and Colin got dressed and completed their finishing touches. After a sweet first look, we did some photos with the bridal party and a few more with the adorable bride and groom before heading to Luscomb Point, a beautiful spot on the cliffs overlooking the ocean where their ceremony was held. After the exchanging vows and rings, they sealed their ceremony with the signing of the license and of course, a kiss! After family photos we took a few more with the newlyweds at the beach and then headed back to the Thursday Club to join cocktail hour and party! Kelley and Colin started their reception with their first dance which was soon followed by dinner, toasts, a group photo of all the guests, some golden hour portraits and finally some cake and dancing. To many more years of Kelley and Colin! :D

Gordon + Hank :: 4/8/23 :: Wedding in Pioneer Town

G+H had the most magical day in the most magical of places— Rimrock Ranch in Pioneer Town, Yucca Valley! The weather was literally perfect and every detail was thoughtful and intentional and executed flawlessly by Katie at Best Day Ever Events! We started with the two grooms taking photo all over the property and even with one of the horses, Ranger. Next, it was time for guest arrival and ceremony where their guests were first greeted by singing from one of their favorite performers, Leslie Page. As the guests began to sample cocktails from Your Little Local and take their seats, each guest was given a red, woven bracelet. Once everyone was seated, the officiant Lori Kahn explained that the grooms wished their guests to infuse their love and positive energy into their bracelets and place them on their wrists. Melissa & Peter :: 11-11-17 :: Wedding in Irvine

Melissa and Peter are such sweeties! We started out their warm sunny wedding day at the Embassy Suites in Santa Ana,  where Melissa got ready with her bridesmaids. After a few fun shots in their robes and everyone was dressed ready to go, Melissa's bestie helped her get into her gorgeous dress, veil and garter. Next, we headed to their venue, the Eureka Building in Irvine where  the bridal party took some photos, being careful to keep bride and groom separate from one another. We also did a first look with Melissa and her dad and a "not" first look with Melissa and Peter, both were so fun and sweet! After those portraits were done, it was ceremony time filled with a sweet and emotional first look, personal vows and three cord braiding ceremony.  Once these two were officially Mr. and Mrs. we spent some time doing family photos, bridal party photos and portraits of the newlyweds in the setting sun.
