Sarah & Ethan :::: Engagement Session at Caspers Wilderness Park

We are SO excited for Sarah and Ethan!! Sarah happens to be my sister-in-love (Tim's sister!) and we love these two tremendously! Sarah and Ethan met way back in High School (what? yes!) and slowly we started to see Ethan hanging around our family more and more until....they were official! Through the years we've had the pleasure of watching their relationship and their love for one another grow and we can truly say, they are perfect for one another :) Sarah wanted a park with big trees and beautiful light for their engagement session background and naturally I thought of the gorgeous Caspers Wilderness Park. It is such a beautiful and relaxing park full of gorgeous scenery. I also made a greenery bouquet full of succulents and seed pods as a fun little extra element for our shoot. We are so excited to be photographing the wedding too (and trying to be in a few photos too!) and we can't wait for next year!

Gordon + Hank :: 4/8/23 :: Wedding in Pioneer Town

G+H had the most magical day in the most magical of places— Rimrock Ranch in Pioneer Town, Yucca Valley! The weather was literally perfect and every detail was thoughtful and intentional and executed flawlessly by Katie at Best Day Ever Events! We started with the two grooms taking photo all over the property and even with one of the horses, Ranger. Next, it was time for guest arrival and ceremony where their guests were first greeted by singing from one of their favorite performers, Leslie Page. As the guests began to sample cocktails from Your Little Local and take their seats, each guest was given a red, woven bracelet. Once everyone was seated, the officiant Lori Kahn explained that the grooms wished their guests to infuse their love and positive energy into their bracelets and place them on their wrists. Melissa & Peter :: 11-11-17 :: Wedding in Irvine

Melissa and Peter are such sweeties! We started out their warm sunny wedding day at the Embassy Suites in Santa Ana,  where Melissa got ready with her bridesmaids. After a few fun shots in their robes and everyone was dressed ready to go, Melissa's bestie helped her get into her gorgeous dress, veil and garter. Next, we headed to their venue, the Eureka Building in Irvine where  the bridal party took some photos, being careful to keep bride and groom separate from one another. We also did a first look with Melissa and her dad and a "not" first look with Melissa and Peter, both were so fun and sweet! After those portraits were done, it was ceremony time filled with a sweet and emotional first look, personal vows and three cord braiding ceremony.  Once these two were officially Mr. and Mrs. we spent some time doing family photos, bridal party photos and portraits of the newlyweds in the setting sun.
