Laura & Charles :: 10-21-17 :: Wedding in Yucca Valley
The amount of cuteness from Laura and Charles was just overwhelmingly good :) This day was so much fun as I got to see one of my dear long time friends marry the love of her life! The small bridal party started off their day getting ready together at Charles' parents' home in Yucca Valley. There were so many personalized and sentimental details a part of this day from Laura's dress which was a re-tailored version of her mom's dress, to her engagement ring which once belonged to Charles' family, to their own custom wedding bands inscribed with their nicknames, to their custom tsum tsum wedding cake topper, all the details had so much thought put into them! After dress, shoes and jewelry were photographed and everyone was dressed, we all made our way to the side yard of the property for Laura and Charles to have a first look. These two were so sweet and tender once the saw each other in their wedding best, they both laughed, cried and loved how great the other looked! We had the distinct pleasure of working with Laura to design and create the flowers for the bridal party and it was so exciting to finally see them complete the whole look on the big day! After the first look we did some bridal party photos and then walked over to the Joshua Tree National Park (which borders the home!) for some more portraits of the Mr and Mrs. to be! We next took a quick trip over to the Joshua Springs Calvary Chapel where the wedding and reception took place. As the sun was beginning to the set, these two exchanged vows and rings and were finally husband and wife! After family portraits, we took the newlyweds out to an empty spot for some more portraits in the golden hour sun. Their reception was full of joyful toasts, emotional first dances and sweet cake cutting followed by a sparkler exit! We loved every moment of this wedding and it was such a delight to photograph this beautiful day for our wonderful friends! :)
