Ashley & Travis :: 12-4-2017 :: Wedding at Disneyland

What a beautiful and magical morning wedding it was for Ashley and Travis! How could it not be, they got married at Disneyland* (specifically the Park View Terrace and Sequoia ballrooms at the Grand California Hotel!). We started out their sunny, cool and very windy day with Ashley getting ready in a suite at the Disneyland Hotel. After Ashley had some pre-getting-dressed snuggles with her niece she donned her beautiful gown with the help of her sweet mom and she had some finishing touches with her bridesmaids. Their short and sweet ceremony followed and after some fun moments, laughter, exchange of rings and pronouncement, these two were married! Their first kiss was followed by much celebration and cheers of joy from their closest friends and family, who were gathered to witness their big day. Family, bridal party and newlywed portraits followed around the amazing Grand California property. Once all the guests were seated, the bridal party made their grand entrance into the reception, and the new Mr. and Mrs. Brown went right into their first dance, followed by toasts and lunch followed by the cake cutting. It was such a marvelous day for such a wonderful couple and we wish them many years of joy and happiness!

Gordon + Hank :: 4/8/23 :: Wedding in Pioneer Town

G+H had the most magical day in the most magical of places— Rimrock Ranch in Pioneer Town, Yucca Valley! The weather was literally perfect and every detail was thoughtful and intentional and executed flawlessly by Katie at Best Day Ever Events! We started with the two grooms taking photo all over the property and even with one of the horses, Ranger. Next, it was time for guest arrival and ceremony where their guests were first greeted by singing from one of their favorite performers, Leslie Page. As the guests began to sample cocktails from Your Little Local and take their seats, each guest was given a red, woven bracelet. Once everyone was seated, the officiant Lori Kahn explained that the grooms wished their guests to infuse their love and positive energy into their bracelets and place them on their wrists. Melissa & Peter :: 11-11-17 :: Wedding in Irvine

Melissa and Peter are such sweeties! We started out their warm sunny wedding day at the Embassy Suites in Santa Ana,  where Melissa got ready with her bridesmaids. After a few fun shots in their robes and everyone was dressed ready to go, Melissa's bestie helped her get into her gorgeous dress, veil and garter. Next, we headed to their venue, the Eureka Building in Irvine where  the bridal party took some photos, being careful to keep bride and groom separate from one another. We also did a first look with Melissa and her dad and a "not" first look with Melissa and Peter, both were so fun and sweet! After those portraits were done, it was ceremony time filled with a sweet and emotional first look, personal vows and three cord braiding ceremony.  Once these two were officially Mr. and Mrs. we spent some time doing family photos, bridal party photos and portraits of the newlyweds in the setting sun.
