Marcia & Josh :::: UP Themed Engagement Session at Craig Park

Marcia and Josh are simply the sweetest! These two met four years ago through Match.com (hooray for more couples meeting online!) and got engaged last year while on vacation in Hawaii (how romantic)! As we are all huge Disney lovers, I was so excited when Marcia and Josh told me they wanted to do an UP themed engagement session! We made sure to recreate some of the sweet picnic shots from the film and they did an amazing job bringing a long so many details from the film like the picnic basket, matching outfits and of course, colorful balloons. They even brought along their precious fur babe Darby who, despite still being a puppy, managed to be the perfect model and even steal the show in a few shots ;) We are so incredibly excited for these two and can't wait for their colorful, Disney-filled wedding next year!

Gordon + Hank :: 4/8/23 :: Wedding in Pioneer Town

G+H had the most magical day in the most magical of places— Rimrock Ranch in Pioneer Town, Yucca Valley! The weather was literally perfect and every detail was thoughtful and intentional and executed flawlessly by Katie at Best Day Ever Events! We started with the two grooms taking photo all over the property and even with one of the horses, Ranger. Next, it was time for guest arrival and ceremony where their guests were first greeted by singing from one of their favorite performers, Leslie Page. As the guests began to sample cocktails from Your Little Local and take their seats, each guest was given a red, woven bracelet. Once everyone was seated, the officiant Lori Kahn explained that the grooms wished their guests to infuse their love and positive energy into their bracelets and place them on their wrists. Melissa & Peter :: 11-11-17 :: Wedding in Irvine

Melissa and Peter are such sweeties! We started out their warm sunny wedding day at the Embassy Suites in Santa Ana,  where Melissa got ready with her bridesmaids. After a few fun shots in their robes and everyone was dressed ready to go, Melissa's bestie helped her get into her gorgeous dress, veil and garter. Next, we headed to their venue, the Eureka Building in Irvine where  the bridal party took some photos, being careful to keep bride and groom separate from one another. We also did a first look with Melissa and her dad and a "not" first look with Melissa and Peter, both were so fun and sweet! After those portraits were done, it was ceremony time filled with a sweet and emotional first look, personal vows and three cord braiding ceremony.  Once these two were officially Mr. and Mrs. we spent some time doing family photos, bridal party photos and portraits of the newlyweds in the setting sun.
