Kim & Pablo :: 4-13-18 :: Wedding in Claremont

What an amazing day for Kim and Pablo! These two wed at the amazing Padua Hills Theatre in Claremont and absolutely every detail of their Moulin Rouge themed wedding was off the charts! We started our day with Kim and her girls at Hotel Casa 425 in Downtown Claremont where we captured some detail and hair and makeup shots. Next, Tim headed over to Pablo's home to photograph some getting ready moments of the groom and his guys. Once everyone was ready, we all headed over to Padua Hills Theatre where Kim donned her gorgeous dress and put on her finishing touches. Kim and Pablo then shared their sweet first look and then we spent some time with their fun bridal party capturing some silly and sweet portraits. After a few shots of the almost Mr. and Mrs. it was time for these two to head down the aisle and say their 'I do's.' Every moment of their ceremony was full of joy, love and laughter and they celebrated their union by locking together a custom lock on a framed metal tree; it was so lovely! Once they were officially Mr. and Mrs. DeLeon, we took all the guests over to a great spot for a group photo and then spent time capturing family portraits and a few more portraits of the newlyweds. Inside their reception guests were treated to a vintage paper moon Photo Booth, a cigar lounge, lush table settings with custom place cards and sweet key bottle opener favors. After all the guests were seated, the bride and groom made their grand entrance and proceeded into their first dance, followed by speeches and dinner. Next the bride and groom danced with their parents, cut the cake and tossed the garter and bouquet. Finally, after some fun dancing we took the bride and groom out for an evening shot amongst the twinkle lights. It was such an honor to be a part of this special day, and we can't wait to capture some more sweet moments with these two at our upcoming styled newlywed shoot!

Gordon + Hank :: 4/8/23 :: Wedding in Pioneer Town

G+H had the most magical day in the most magical of places— Rimrock Ranch in Pioneer Town, Yucca Valley! The weather was literally perfect and every detail was thoughtful and intentional and executed flawlessly by Katie at Best Day Ever Events! We started with the two grooms taking photo all over the property and even with one of the horses, Ranger. Next, it was time for guest arrival and ceremony where their guests were first greeted by singing from one of their favorite performers, Leslie Page. As the guests began to sample cocktails from Your Little Local and take their seats, each guest was given a red, woven bracelet. Once everyone was seated, the officiant Lori Kahn explained that the grooms wished their guests to infuse their love and positive energy into their bracelets and place them on their wrists. Melissa & Peter :: 11-11-17 :: Wedding in Irvine

Melissa and Peter are such sweeties! We started out their warm sunny wedding day at the Embassy Suites in Santa Ana,  where Melissa got ready with her bridesmaids. After a few fun shots in their robes and everyone was dressed ready to go, Melissa's bestie helped her get into her gorgeous dress, veil and garter. Next, we headed to their venue, the Eureka Building in Irvine where  the bridal party took some photos, being careful to keep bride and groom separate from one another. We also did a first look with Melissa and her dad and a "not" first look with Melissa and Peter, both were so fun and sweet! After those portraits were done, it was ceremony time filled with a sweet and emotional first look, personal vows and three cord braiding ceremony.  Once these two were officially Mr. and Mrs. we spent some time doing family photos, bridal party photos and portraits of the newlyweds in the setting sun.
