Meghan & Harry Wed in Los Angeles Styled Shoot

From planner Renee at Moxie Bright Events: Admit it. You have Royal Wedding Fever. It’s ok. We all have it! Even us jaded Angelinos (who run into our fave celebs at Whole Foods on the daily) are watching Meghan’s every stylish move with bated breath. And can you blame us? Meghan is our home town girl! And honestly? We've all been in love with Harry for years. Consider Royal Wedding Watch in full effect. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Meghan’s sophisticated and playful style developed on the same streets we drive on every day. In fact, you can drive right by her high school in the heart of Hollywood. Which got us thinking - What if Meghan & Harry decided to marry in Los Angeles? I mean, let’s not get it twisted - Queen Elizabeth would be in attendance. But maybe the whole thing would be a little…looser? More colorful? More intimate? Designed & Planned by Moxie Bright Events, and taking inspiration from Pantone’s Color of the Year, Ultra Violet, the whole creative team set out to bring an alternate-universe version of Meghan & Harry to life! The Ebell of Los Angeles was our first choice venue. It is a social and philanthropic jewel in Los Angeles’ crown, founded by women in 1894.  The historic Ebell Clubhouse was built in 1927 and is designated an Official American Treasure. The dramatic ceremony location, coupled with the elegant and lush garden was a natural match for our inspiration shoot. Peterson Design & Photo knocked it out the park with their capture of the all thoughtful details and romantic florals. Speaking of romantic florals. Upton Grey Florals upped the ante with a dramatic, creative, and unique asymmetrical ceremony backdrop, as well as truly epic florals throughout. Taking inspiration from Meghan’s engagement shoot dress, we outfitted our bride in a stunning Watters gown (showing just a little bit of skin) and a truly royal tiara and veil from Julie Harris Designs. We added a little metallic touch with gold Badgley Mischka d’Orsay pumps and classic gold and pearl cluster earrings from Kate Spade. Our groom looks dapper in a tux from Friar Tux. Completing the gorgeous family portrait is Charles Corgchester III, clearly on loan from the Queen Mother herself. We thought that Meghan & Harry would take advantage of Los Angeles' superior weather and treat their guests to dinner in the garden. Our tablescape mixes the casual farm table and chairs from La Pinata Party Rentals with the formality of velvet runners and napkins from BBJ Linen.  Mixing in the whimsy of the lush and loose florals from Upton Grey Florals and the vibrant pops of color from our ultraviolet candles, we complete the look with a watercolor family crested menu by Roseville Designs. After dinner, our couple relaxes on a colorful and cozy lounge vignette by Provenance Rentals. Can you just die over this color palette? Amazing. And the cake! Meghan & Harry's cake, as imagined by Mwojaki Cakery, is as royal as royal can be! It's so grand I don't even want to cut it! And what goes best with cake? Tea, of course! A sweet little tea service completes dinner in the most civilized fashion. Whatever Meghan & Harry decide for their Big Day is certainly going to be trend-setting for years to come. We hope our imagination has inspired you to set some trends for your own Royal Wedding!
