Monica & Ahmad :: 8-11-18 :: Wedding in Los Angeles

What a fun and unique day it was for Monica and Ahmad! How many people do you know who have their wedding in a video studio soundstage? Well that's what these two did! They had a vision of a fun party with their nearest and dearest mixed with the funky, modern and unique aesthetic of the studio. These two goals were meshed together cohesively by Blaire at Sparkles and Vintage and with her signature elegant touch, Monica and Ahmad had a beautiful day! We started out with Monica and Ahmad's details and them getting ready on location. After Monica had donned her beautiful dress and had some finishing touches by her bridesmaids, she and Ahmad shared a sweet first look. We next met up with the super fun bridal party and soon to be Mr. and Mrs. for some portraits in the area around the venue. Their short and sweet ceremony followed and after some fun moments, laughter, exchange of rings, these two were married! After cocktail hour and socializing the bride and groom made their grand entrance into the reception and went right into their first dance, followed by dinner, speeches, a fraternity traditional hymn dance and then the party really got started! And finally, after all the reception events were completed, we stole the newlyweds away from the party for a romantic end of the night shot. It was such a marveous day for such a wonderful couple, and we wish them many years of joy and happiness!

Gordon + Hank :: 4/8/23 :: Wedding in Pioneer Town

G+H had the most magical day in the most magical of places— Rimrock Ranch in Pioneer Town, Yucca Valley! The weather was literally perfect and every detail was thoughtful and intentional and executed flawlessly by Katie at Best Day Ever Events! We started with the two grooms taking photo all over the property and even with one of the horses, Ranger. Next, it was time for guest arrival and ceremony where their guests were first greeted by singing from one of their favorite performers, Leslie Page. As the guests began to sample cocktails from Your Little Local and take their seats, each guest was given a red, woven bracelet. Once everyone was seated, the officiant Lori Kahn explained that the grooms wished their guests to infuse their love and positive energy into their bracelets and place them on their wrists. Melissa & Peter :: 11-11-17 :: Wedding in Irvine

Melissa and Peter are such sweeties! We started out their warm sunny wedding day at the Embassy Suites in Santa Ana,  where Melissa got ready with her bridesmaids. After a few fun shots in their robes and everyone was dressed ready to go, Melissa's bestie helped her get into her gorgeous dress, veil and garter. Next, we headed to their venue, the Eureka Building in Irvine where  the bridal party took some photos, being careful to keep bride and groom separate from one another. We also did a first look with Melissa and her dad and a "not" first look with Melissa and Peter, both were so fun and sweet! After those portraits were done, it was ceremony time filled with a sweet and emotional first look, personal vows and three cord braiding ceremony.  Once these two were officially Mr. and Mrs. we spent some time doing family photos, bridal party photos and portraits of the newlyweds in the setting sun.
