Christiana & Thor ::: Engagement Session at the Orange Circle

Christiana and Thor are such sweethearts! These two met while working at Sprouts together, Thor was working in the back and Christiana would volunteer to take out the trash so she could see him and chat more. After dating for a while and when it came to talking marriage, they were both on the same page but had decided to wait for the right time. Christiana didn't want to wait anymore and decided to make the first move. She proposed to Thor one day at Sprouts with a Pokemon spinner ring! So so wonderful! Later on, Christiana also picked out a ring, a rose gold morganite stunner! For their engagement shoot (and wedding) these two wanted to incorporate something they share a deep love for: books! We took photos around one of their favorite spots, the Orange Circle and spent some time laughing, reading and exploring. These two really are better together and we are so excited for their wedding in May :)

Gordon + Hank :: 4/8/23 :: Wedding in Pioneer Town

G+H had the most magical day in the most magical of places— Rimrock Ranch in Pioneer Town, Yucca Valley! The weather was literally perfect and every detail was thoughtful and intentional and executed flawlessly by Katie at Best Day Ever Events! We started with the two grooms taking photo all over the property and even with one of the horses, Ranger. Next, it was time for guest arrival and ceremony where their guests were first greeted by singing from one of their favorite performers, Leslie Page. As the guests began to sample cocktails from Your Little Local and take their seats, each guest was given a red, woven bracelet. Once everyone was seated, the officiant Lori Kahn explained that the grooms wished their guests to infuse their love and positive energy into their bracelets and place them on their wrists. Melissa & Peter :: 11-11-17 :: Wedding in Irvine

Melissa and Peter are such sweeties! We started out their warm sunny wedding day at the Embassy Suites in Santa Ana,  where Melissa got ready with her bridesmaids. After a few fun shots in their robes and everyone was dressed ready to go, Melissa's bestie helped her get into her gorgeous dress, veil and garter. Next, we headed to their venue, the Eureka Building in Irvine where  the bridal party took some photos, being careful to keep bride and groom separate from one another. We also did a first look with Melissa and her dad and a "not" first look with Melissa and Peter, both were so fun and sweet! After those portraits were done, it was ceremony time filled with a sweet and emotional first look, personal vows and three cord braiding ceremony.  Once these two were officially Mr. and Mrs. we spent some time doing family photos, bridal party photos and portraits of the newlyweds in the setting sun.
