Ely & Paul :::: "UP" Themed Engagement Session at Craig Park

Image
I was SO EXCITED when Ely and Paul told me they wanted to do an UP themed engagement session! They were inspired that Ely shared the same name as the main character's wife and the fact that it is one of their favorite films. We made sure to recreate some of the sweet picnic shots from the film and they did an amazing job bringing a long so many details from the film like the bottle cap pin, picnic basket, matching outfits and of course, colorful balloons :) They wanted to spell out "Forever and Ever Babe" in Scrabble tiles as say that to each other often in reference a sweet moment from the movie "Click." In fact, they started saying this to each other so much, that it is engraved inside Ely's engagement ring! To add to the whimsical feel of our session, I also brought along some polaroids to take some fun shots throughout our session. We had such a great time with these two and we are so thrilled to be shooting their wedding in May on their 10th anniversar...

Faith & Michael :: Day-After Wedding Session :: Pasadena City Hall

Image
Faith and Michael wanted to do a day-after session at an elegant place like where they held their wedding. So naturally I thought of Pasadena City Hall, a stunning location! We didn't have much time on their wedding day to take portraits of the newlyweds (their priority was spending lots of time with their guests) so they wanted to do a separate session for more photos. Such a great idea! They wanted the session to have somewhat of a classic feel so we incorporated some lovely props including a chalkboard sign where I wrote out their names in a beautiful script and a live flower bouquet and boutonnière that I made (I'm a wanna-be florist! ;)). We had such a fun session exploring Pasadena City Hall and getting some more elegant and romantic shots of these two. We LOVE day-after sessions and hope to do more in the future! Click any image and launch a larger viewing window. Enjoy! ...
