Amanda :::: Senior Portraits :::: Biola University

This is my beautiful sister Amanda. She just graduated in December from Biola University with a Bachelor in Fine Arts degree in Drawing and Painting. The same week that she graduated, she also displayed her senior art thesis in the Biola University Art Gallery, which was deeply personal and explored our own family memories through drawing, painting and video. She graduated Summa Cum Laude was inducted into Biola's honor's society and earlier last year, graduated from the Torrey Honors Institute. She is deeply interested in both fine art and directing theatre and film. I am so profoundly proud of her and have been so blessed to grow up with her as my best friend. She wanted to spend an afternoon at the Huntington Library and Gardens, one of our favorite places to visit, and I took the opportunity to do her senior portraits. We had a blast (although it was quite cold!) and it was so much fun to spend some extra time with her.

Gordon + Hank :: 4/8/23 :: Wedding in Pioneer Town

G+H had the most magical day in the most magical of places— Rimrock Ranch in Pioneer Town, Yucca Valley! The weather was literally perfect and every detail was thoughtful and intentional and executed flawlessly by Katie at Best Day Ever Events! We started with the two grooms taking photo all over the property and even with one of the horses, Ranger. Next, it was time for guest arrival and ceremony where their guests were first greeted by singing from one of their favorite performers, Leslie Page. As the guests began to sample cocktails from Your Little Local and take their seats, each guest was given a red, woven bracelet. Once everyone was seated, the officiant Lori Kahn explained that the grooms wished their guests to infuse their love and positive energy into their bracelets and place them on their wrists. Melissa & Peter :: 11-11-17 :: Wedding in Irvine

Melissa and Peter are such sweeties! We started out their warm sunny wedding day at the Embassy Suites in Santa Ana,  where Melissa got ready with her bridesmaids. After a few fun shots in their robes and everyone was dressed ready to go, Melissa's bestie helped her get into her gorgeous dress, veil and garter. Next, we headed to their venue, the Eureka Building in Irvine where  the bridal party took some photos, being careful to keep bride and groom separate from one another. We also did a first look with Melissa and her dad and a "not" first look with Melissa and Peter, both were so fun and sweet! After those portraits were done, it was ceremony time filled with a sweet and emotional first look, personal vows and three cord braiding ceremony.  Once these two were officially Mr. and Mrs. we spent some time doing family photos, bridal party photos and portraits of the newlyweds in the setting sun.
