Cynthia & Brandon :: 3-23-13 :: Wedding in Lakewood & Hawaiian Gardens

Cynthia and Brandon's wedding was such a fun celebration and so uniquely them! We spent the first part of the day with the girls as they laughed, talked and got ready for the day. After everyone was ready to go, I traveled with the girls on the Party Bus to the ceremony and let me tell you, these bridesmaids (and the whole bridal party for that matter!) know how to have a good time! Cynthia and Brandon wrote their own touching vows to one another which they read with great emotion and love. They got married in a sweet little church in Lakewood that was so excited to host their first wedding in 10 years and their reception was hosted at the superb Hawaiian Gardens Community Center. Cynthia is a major DIY bride, and you can see all her beautiful hard work in everything from the invitations to the centerpieces. It was such a beautiful day and such a joy to witness the love of such wonderful people.

Gordon + Hank :: 4/8/23 :: Wedding in Pioneer Town

G+H had the most magical day in the most magical of places— Rimrock Ranch in Pioneer Town, Yucca Valley! The weather was literally perfect and every detail was thoughtful and intentional and executed flawlessly by Katie at Best Day Ever Events! We started with the two grooms taking photo all over the property and even with one of the horses, Ranger. Next, it was time for guest arrival and ceremony where their guests were first greeted by singing from one of their favorite performers, Leslie Page. As the guests began to sample cocktails from Your Little Local and take their seats, each guest was given a red, woven bracelet. Once everyone was seated, the officiant Lori Kahn explained that the grooms wished their guests to infuse their love and positive energy into their bracelets and place them on their wrists. Melissa & Peter :: 11-11-17 :: Wedding in Irvine

Melissa and Peter are such sweeties! We started out their warm sunny wedding day at the Embassy Suites in Santa Ana,  where Melissa got ready with her bridesmaids. After a few fun shots in their robes and everyone was dressed ready to go, Melissa's bestie helped her get into her gorgeous dress, veil and garter. Next, we headed to their venue, the Eureka Building in Irvine where  the bridal party took some photos, being careful to keep bride and groom separate from one another. We also did a first look with Melissa and her dad and a "not" first look with Melissa and Peter, both were so fun and sweet! After those portraits were done, it was ceremony time filled with a sweet and emotional first look, personal vows and three cord braiding ceremony.  Once these two were officially Mr. and Mrs. we spent some time doing family photos, bridal party photos and portraits of the newlyweds in the setting sun.
