Faith & Michael :: 1-11-2015 :: Wedding in Fullerton

Not even rain could put a damper on Faith and Michael's beautiful day! These two were married at a venue that is literally two miles from our home in Fullerton, the Springfield Banquet Center. The day started with us documenting the getting ready process and bridal details. After everyone was dressed, we took separate bride and bridesmaid/groom and groomsmen shots, being careful to keep the bride and groom from seeing each other until the ceremony. During their ceremony, Faith and Michael symbolized their two lives becoming one through the Sand Ceremony, which is such a sweet visual reminder of the beginning of their marriage. After the new Mr. and Mrs. were pronounced, we brought everyone together for family and bridal party pictures. We only took a few portraits of the bride and groom because we had a day-after session where we would take the majority of their couple's photos. After a bit of mingling during the cocktail hour, Faith and Michael were announced into their reception and had their first dance as husband and wife. After a speech by their pastor, Faith danced with her father, the newlyweds cut the cake, we took a group photo of all of the guests, and the dance floor was opened up! The bridal party started the dancing, and then everyone else was invited to join them on the dance floor. This group really LOVED to dance! :D One of our favorite reception details was the customized M&M's with one of our engagement photos! I have to confess, I have never been more delighted to see one of my photos printed on anything else before :) It was such a pleasure to photograph Faith and Michael's wonderful wedding day!
