Nadia & Gabriel :: 9-29-2017 :: Wedding in Baldwin Park and West Covina

Nadia and Gabriel are such sweethearts! We connected with these two through Lizette and Jason and Rebecca and Ruben and we are so glad we got to work with this amazing family again! We started out their warm sunny wedding day at Nadia's mom's home where the bride got ready with her family. After donning her gorgeous gown, Nadia and her family put on some finishing touched and headed to the church! Mass was held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Baldwin Park and it was so wonderful to watch these two become man and wife and share in all the wonderful traditions of the wedding mass. Once the ceremony was complete we spent some time doing family photos at the church and then headed to the gorgeous Pacific Palms Resort in West Covina for bridal party photos and portraits of the newlyweds. Next it was time for the party to begin! We headed next to the reception venue, Hurst Ranch in West Covina, which was was full of gorgeous details like laser cut heart guest book, etched sweetheart toasting glasses and butterfly cake servers, a memory keepsake in remembrance of Nadia's dad. Upon joyfully entering their reception with dancing and lots of hi-fives, Nadia and Garbiel had their first dance. Then they spent some time greeting, and thanking each of their guests and listening to toasts. After the bouquet, garter toss and cake cutting there was some epic dancing from their amazing guests. It was such a delight to be a part of this day from designing the invitations to photographing the big day and we wish all the joy and happiness in the world to Mr. and Mrs. Tinoco!

Gordon + Hank :: 4/8/23 :: Wedding in Pioneer Town

G+H had the most magical day in the most magical of places— Rimrock Ranch in Pioneer Town, Yucca Valley! The weather was literally perfect and every detail was thoughtful and intentional and executed flawlessly by Katie at Best Day Ever Events! We started with the two grooms taking photo all over the property and even with one of the horses, Ranger. Next, it was time for guest arrival and ceremony where their guests were first greeted by singing from one of their favorite performers, Leslie Page. As the guests began to sample cocktails from Your Little Local and take their seats, each guest was given a red, woven bracelet. Once everyone was seated, the officiant Lori Kahn explained that the grooms wished their guests to infuse their love and positive energy into their bracelets and place them on their wrists. Melissa & Peter :: 11-11-17 :: Wedding in Irvine

Melissa and Peter are such sweeties! We started out their warm sunny wedding day at the Embassy Suites in Santa Ana,  where Melissa got ready with her bridesmaids. After a few fun shots in their robes and everyone was dressed ready to go, Melissa's bestie helped her get into her gorgeous dress, veil and garter. Next, we headed to their venue, the Eureka Building in Irvine where  the bridal party took some photos, being careful to keep bride and groom separate from one another. We also did a first look with Melissa and her dad and a "not" first look with Melissa and Peter, both were so fun and sweet! After those portraits were done, it was ceremony time filled with a sweet and emotional first look, personal vows and three cord braiding ceremony.  Once these two were officially Mr. and Mrs. we spent some time doing family photos, bridal party photos and portraits of the newlyweds in the setting sun.
