Katie & Rene :: 4-14-12 :: Wedding in Dana Point, CA
Katie and Rene are some of the first people last year that signed up with me to do their wedding photography before I had really even started shooting weddings. So being a part of their day was really special :)
Their wedding was at St. Edward the Confessor Catholic Church in Dana Point which is high up on a hill overlooking the ocean, and for their reception we moved to Cannon's Restaurant which is right on the cliff facing Dana Point's harbor. The views at both locations were incredible! Even though we had just had torrential rain the day before and we were afraid it might rain that day, the weather was perfect! Not too warm, not too cold.
Katie and Rene's wedding was definitely about family. Katie's bridesmaids were her sisters, Rene's groomsmen were his brothers and his nephew Noah was their ring bearer. Most family members were involved with the ceremony and Katie's mom also made their fabulous cake. This is also the second wedding where we took polaroids, but the first with our own polaroid camera! The polaroids turned out fabulous and are so fun to take throughout the day, since it is always a surprise on how they will turn out.
A beautiful day, a beautiful wedding!
