Elizabeth & Erik :: 6-8-2013 :: Wedding in Sierra Madre & Glendora

What an unbelievably beautiful wedding! It was such a joy to be a part of Elizabeth and Erik's day, from designing their invitations and programs to capturing all of the moments of their day. They are such a delight! We started our day at Elizabeth's house capturing all the bridal details as she got ready with her bridesmaids. Then I spent some time taking photos with the bridesmaids and Elizabeth's parents, while Tim and Allison did the same with Erik, his groomsmen, and also his parents. We had plenty of time for some beautiful and FUN pictures! After a beautifully sweet ceremony at Sierra Madre Congregational Church we took photos of the family and fabulous bridal party. Before leaving to the reception, Elizabeth and Erik wanted to take a few pictures by a door at the church where they first met :) Once we arrived at Glendora Country Club, the newlyweds, their best man and maid of honor, and Tim and I rode on golf carts out to a beautiful spot on the golf course to spend some more time taking pictures in the beautiful setting sun. The reception was full of beautiful speeches, dancing, partying and when it was cake time,  we captured our first cake smoosh! We such had a blast photographing this wedding :) Much thanks to Allison again for helping us out and being a superb third shooter.

Gordon + Hank :: 4/8/23 :: Wedding in Pioneer Town

G+H had the most magical day in the most magical of places— Rimrock Ranch in Pioneer Town, Yucca Valley! The weather was literally perfect and every detail was thoughtful and intentional and executed flawlessly by Katie at Best Day Ever Events! We started with the two grooms taking photo all over the property and even with one of the horses, Ranger. Next, it was time for guest arrival and ceremony where their guests were first greeted by singing from one of their favorite performers, Leslie Page. As the guests began to sample cocktails from Your Little Local and take their seats, each guest was given a red, woven bracelet. Once everyone was seated, the officiant Lori Kahn explained that the grooms wished their guests to infuse their love and positive energy into their bracelets and place them on their wrists. Melissa & Peter :: 11-11-17 :: Wedding in Irvine

Melissa and Peter are such sweeties! We started out their warm sunny wedding day at the Embassy Suites in Santa Ana,  where Melissa got ready with her bridesmaids. After a few fun shots in their robes and everyone was dressed ready to go, Melissa's bestie helped her get into her gorgeous dress, veil and garter. Next, we headed to their venue, the Eureka Building in Irvine where  the bridal party took some photos, being careful to keep bride and groom separate from one another. We also did a first look with Melissa and her dad and a "not" first look with Melissa and Peter, both were so fun and sweet! After those portraits were done, it was ceremony time filled with a sweet and emotional first look, personal vows and three cord braiding ceremony.  Once these two were officially Mr. and Mrs. we spent some time doing family photos, bridal party photos and portraits of the newlyweds in the setting sun.
