Natalie & Scott :: 7-23-2016 :: Wedding in Azusa
What a beautiful (although rather hot!) day! Natalie and Scott are such sweeties and had such a wonderful wedding! Natalie got ready at her parent's home close to their venue which happened to be decorated in the same theme as their wedding: classic and rustic Americana! It helped set the fun and classic tone for their day and it was fun to capture so many sweet getting ready moments, including her flower girls looking at her dress and her sisters helping her into her dress. These two got married at the beautiful Historic Lindley-Scott House in Azusa and after everyone was ready and it was almost go time, we did a "not" first look with Natalie and Scott right before they walked down the isle! After the ceremony was under way there were some laughs, tender vows and they being finally pronounced Mr. and Mrs. Marcus! Their guests sent them up the isle waving American flags and we had a great time with their bridal party taking more fun photos waving American flags! As the sun was setting we spent some time taking portraits of the new Mr. and Mrs., including some shots with the custom chalkboard I made for them. The reception was held at the Lindley-Scott House's carriage barn where their guests could enjoy some relief from the heat. After being announced, the couple went straight into their first dance which was then followed by dinner and speeches. Some socializing followed and then the newlyweds cut the cake and we took them outside for a few fun end of the night shots. It was such a fun, festive day and we wish these two many years of joy!
