Tropical Mid Century Modern Styled Shoot :::: Featured on Love Inc.

This inspiration shoot was inspired by the sleek lines of mid-century modern style coupled with the perfect tropical beach vibe.  The combination provided a laid back setting with a chic look that was also fun and colorful! This unique submission provides great inspiration for couples who are looking to have a wedding that is fun-filled and quirky yet still beautiful and styled, perfect for Green Wedding Shoes, whose readership tends to lean toward having unique aspects incorporated in their weddings.

The collaboration by all of the vendors was absolutely amazing.  Each professional provided their expertise and it was beautiful to see it come together.  S

Gilded Swan Paperie provided the invitations, menus and place cards.  Her design incorporated the colorful yet muted colors that are prominent in midcentury design.  The use of tropical leaves and flowers were reminiscent of postcards from Hawaii in the 1950s. Ole Hanson Beach Club in San Clemente, California is deep in Orange County and is beachfront with amazing views of the Laguna Cliffs.  Guests might even see dolphins or whales swimming offshore as the ceremony transpires on the large green lawn!

The vintage furnishings from Sundrop Vintage were perfect for the theme.  From the plush velvet teal couch with gold hardware to the fabulous ceremony backdrop of bamboo rays, their furnishings screamed tropical with that mid-century vibe. Letters to You provided laser cut and etched calligraphy pieces, like the cake topper, table number, and calligraphy on the envelopes.  Her amazing pieces brought the bar cart together with the extra large rose gold laser cut Drunk in Love sign in the window and the laser etched bar menu and sign. The ring from Brilliant Earth was a gorgeous deep turquoise that channeled the ocean in the tropics.

Petals and Sea Breeze provided all florals and the bridal bouquet was colorful, and even included a small pineapple in it!  The use of orchids, pincushion protea and celosia combined with classic roses was the perfect combination of tropical and classic.  They also embellished upon the bamboo rays by adding pink bouganvilla vines. LA Speakeasy provided amazing drinks that both tasted and looked fabulous.  The glassware were from Sundrop Vintage, but the concoctions created by LA Speakeasy were absolutely delicious! The cake from Metzi’s Cakes and Bakes channeled the vintage glam of Palm Springs with the geometric shape design. All pieces were brought together at the reception table designed by Dorothy Rose Events.  The garland of florals and tropical leaves blended in seamlessly with the tropical runner from Wildflower Linen.  Colorful plates were placed on top of simple white charges with clean lines so as to highlight the pop of color with the napkins.  The gold flatware and gold-rimmed glassware added a touch of class to the colorful table.
