Corrin & Dominic :: 3-23-19 :: Wedding in Moorpark

What a beautiful day it was for Corrin and Dominic! These two got married on a cold and mostly cloudy day at Moorpark County Club, a beautiful golf club.They really meshed their botanic and elegant theme easily with this lush location and the relaxed elegant vibe was perfectly displayed through all their details and decor. Our day began with some detail and getting ready shots at the venue. Once Corrin and Dominic got dressed, we did some separate photos with the bridal party. The bride and groom also wanted to do a "first touch" where they spent some time together holding hands and praying, without seeing each other. After that emotional moment, Corrin also shared a tender first look with her dad. It was so sweet! The ceremony followed shortly after and was filled with prayer, vows and a joyfully tearful first look! Family and bridal party portraits followed the ceremony and we were sure to take photos of the newlyweds around the golf course.  Next it was time for them to be announced at their reception as the newly minted Mr. and Mrs. D'Amato! Upon entering their reception, the couple danced, listened to sweet speeches and enjoyed a delicious dinner.  When night fell, everyone danced the night away in-between the garter and bouquet tosses and the cake cutting.  This group really knew how to get down on the dance floor! Our night ended with a wonderfully romantic sparkler exit, including a magical shot of just the bride and groom with some long-exposure magic. This was such a splendid day celebrating such a beautiful and loving couple! Extra thanks to Sarah of Kindred Weddings and Events, who coordinated this perfectly smooth wedding day!

Gordon + Hank :: 4/8/23 :: Wedding in Pioneer Town

G+H had the most magical day in the most magical of places— Rimrock Ranch in Pioneer Town, Yucca Valley! The weather was literally perfect and every detail was thoughtful and intentional and executed flawlessly by Katie at Best Day Ever Events! We started with the two grooms taking photo all over the property and even with one of the horses, Ranger. Next, it was time for guest arrival and ceremony where their guests were first greeted by singing from one of their favorite performers, Leslie Page. As the guests began to sample cocktails from Your Little Local and take their seats, each guest was given a red, woven bracelet. Once everyone was seated, the officiant Lori Kahn explained that the grooms wished their guests to infuse their love and positive energy into their bracelets and place them on their wrists. Melissa & Peter :: 11-11-17 :: Wedding in Irvine

Melissa and Peter are such sweeties! We started out their warm sunny wedding day at the Embassy Suites in Santa Ana,  where Melissa got ready with her bridesmaids. After a few fun shots in their robes and everyone was dressed ready to go, Melissa's bestie helped her get into her gorgeous dress, veil and garter. Next, we headed to their venue, the Eureka Building in Irvine where  the bridal party took some photos, being careful to keep bride and groom separate from one another. We also did a first look with Melissa and her dad and a "not" first look with Melissa and Peter, both were so fun and sweet! After those portraits were done, it was ceremony time filled with a sweet and emotional first look, personal vows and three cord braiding ceremony.  Once these two were officially Mr. and Mrs. we spent some time doing family photos, bridal party photos and portraits of the newlyweds in the setting sun.
