Natalie & Andrew :::: Engagement Session in Joshua Tree

How adorable are Natalie and Andrew? Natalie is the sister of one of my very first brides (Yay for Courtney and Sean!) and it is such an honor to be a part of their celebration! These two met at a party at her place and were introduced by a mutual friend. Natalie actually knew all of Andrew's friends and roommates before ever meeting Andrew, so their meeting was long overdue! They got engaged this last Christmas and we are so excited to be a part of their upcoming wedding in between Christmas and New Years this year. For their engagement session they wanted to go someplace special to both of them: Joshua Tree! During our golden hour session we wandered all around a small sliver of the park which was filled with blooming wildflowers in all colors. We had such a fantastic time with these two goofballs and you can see how much they enjoy just being together in these photos. Can't wait for the big day!

Gordon + Hank :: 4/8/23 :: Wedding in Pioneer Town

G+H had the most magical day in the most magical of places— Rimrock Ranch in Pioneer Town, Yucca Valley! The weather was literally perfect and every detail was thoughtful and intentional and executed flawlessly by Katie at Best Day Ever Events! We started with the two grooms taking photo all over the property and even with one of the horses, Ranger. Next, it was time for guest arrival and ceremony where their guests were first greeted by singing from one of their favorite performers, Leslie Page. As the guests began to sample cocktails from Your Little Local and take their seats, each guest was given a red, woven bracelet. Once everyone was seated, the officiant Lori Kahn explained that the grooms wished their guests to infuse their love and positive energy into their bracelets and place them on their wrists. Melissa & Peter :: 11-11-17 :: Wedding in Irvine

Melissa and Peter are such sweeties! We started out their warm sunny wedding day at the Embassy Suites in Santa Ana,  where Melissa got ready with her bridesmaids. After a few fun shots in their robes and everyone was dressed ready to go, Melissa's bestie helped her get into her gorgeous dress, veil and garter. Next, we headed to their venue, the Eureka Building in Irvine where  the bridal party took some photos, being careful to keep bride and groom separate from one another. We also did a first look with Melissa and her dad and a "not" first look with Melissa and Peter, both were so fun and sweet! After those portraits were done, it was ceremony time filled with a sweet and emotional first look, personal vows and three cord braiding ceremony.  Once these two were officially Mr. and Mrs. we spent some time doing family photos, bridal party photos and portraits of the newlyweds in the setting sun.
