Melissa & Jordan :: 5-26-19 :: Wedding in Yorba Linda

What a beautiful day for Melissa and Jordan! These two got married on an unusually rainy and cold Memorial Day weekend at Black Gold Golf Course, a hidden gem in the Yorba Linda hills! They really meshed their simple, classic, rose gold, black and white garden theme with this lush location! Our day began with some detail and getting ready shots at the venue. Once Melissa and Jordan got dressed, we did some separate photos with the bridal party. The ceremony followed shortly after and was filled with prayer, vows and a fun dried flower confetti exit! Family and bridal party portraits followed the ceremony and we were sure to take photos on the stunning and vibrant 18th hole of the golf course. Next it was time for them to be announced at their reception as the newly minted Mr. and Mrs. Resquer! Upon entering their reception, the couple danced, danced with their parents and enjoyed a delicious dinner.  When night fell, everyone danced the night away in-between the garter and bouquet tosses, cake cutting and some epic late night snacks. We snuck the newlyweds away for a beautiful end of the night shot under the stunning venue entrance. This was such a splendid day celebrating such a beautiful and loving couple----what a great way to start the summer wedding season!

Gordon + Hank :: 4/8/23 :: Wedding in Pioneer Town

G+H had the most magical day in the most magical of places— Rimrock Ranch in Pioneer Town, Yucca Valley! The weather was literally perfect and every detail was thoughtful and intentional and executed flawlessly by Katie at Best Day Ever Events! We started with the two grooms taking photo all over the property and even with one of the horses, Ranger. Next, it was time for guest arrival and ceremony where their guests were first greeted by singing from one of their favorite performers, Leslie Page. As the guests began to sample cocktails from Your Little Local and take their seats, each guest was given a red, woven bracelet. Once everyone was seated, the officiant Lori Kahn explained that the grooms wished their guests to infuse their love and positive energy into their bracelets and place them on their wrists. Melissa & Peter :: 11-11-17 :: Wedding in Irvine

Melissa and Peter are such sweeties! We started out their warm sunny wedding day at the Embassy Suites in Santa Ana,  where Melissa got ready with her bridesmaids. After a few fun shots in their robes and everyone was dressed ready to go, Melissa's bestie helped her get into her gorgeous dress, veil and garter. Next, we headed to their venue, the Eureka Building in Irvine where  the bridal party took some photos, being careful to keep bride and groom separate from one another. We also did a first look with Melissa and her dad and a "not" first look with Melissa and Peter, both were so fun and sweet! After those portraits were done, it was ceremony time filled with a sweet and emotional first look, personal vows and three cord braiding ceremony.  Once these two were officially Mr. and Mrs. we spent some time doing family photos, bridal party photos and portraits of the newlyweds in the setting sun.
